I'm not very smart and don't know much. I also tend to not have the patience to really practice and learn something if I don't learn it fast. What's an efficient way to learn things?

Whilst I have a good memory and am quite good at learning in an academic sense, whenever I come across a subject I don't enjoy or understand, or something I find a bit complicated, I will often create a song about it to help me remember. Usually it ends up being some kind of parody of an existing song. It worked a treat when I was revising for polymer chemistry exams!
