Pokémon Legends: Arceus
#1
Enjoyed  the differing parts of the main quest and just how many side quests there were. I also liked the tracking system as it allowed for jumping between different quest lines.  Another major plus was the items that stood in for trade-based evolutions. Catching mechanics were neat and worked well.

Downsides, though. The graphics looked horrible and ugly at full scale. The art style for the overworld is inconsistent and crap. The world was mostly vast and empty.

I like the crafting and the quests can be fun. The genuine sense of danger exploring the map is cool. I think the research stuff can be a bit tedious at times but I think future Legends games can tweak this aspect. The story so far is fine and just the fact it's not a typical Pokemon game makes it interesting. I'm sure my views will evolve as I keep playing.

A lot of people say that this game is a really good one. I haven't played it but Sinnoh is such a good generation. Is it worth it?

I think it is. It's a close cousin in terms of gameplay to the main series but it's different in many other ways. I initially skipped it thinking it wouldn't be that interesting but coming around to playing it I'm liking it. I think Legends Arceus actually makes interacting with Pokemon in the wild a bit more interesting than the mainline games does and the crafting system is nicer than just constantly picking up freebies in the wild like Scarlet/Violet has you doing.

Absolutely. It’s my favourite game of all time, tied with SM/USUM. ❤️‍🔥

I think I’m going to keep an eye out for a copy then. Maybe when I get paid or want to start a new game. The price has held up so it shows it’s a good game as they tend to lose value. I would have to start with Cyndaquil!

The ghostly wolverine will be a great companion!
