Pretty accurate for me. I've been told in the past that I sound like a Minnesotan, and I noticed that southern Minnesota is highlighted as some of the strongest resemblance, but the three closest cities for me were Seattle, Tacoma, and Honolulu, and given that I live in Vancouver (the big one ) that is pretty bang-on! The cities most distant from me were Worcester, Providence, and New Orleans.

My three closest cities according to the way I speak are Grand Rapids, New York and Providence. However, there was a lot more red for the New York state so, I speak more like someone from New York. Everywhere else on the map is relatively cold.

As someone who is a non-American, I find that amusing

EDIT: Now, upon retaking the quiz, the way I speak is now more similar to Madison, Rockford and Aurora - all very close to each other. More than the centre of the map was warm and now I will mention the least similar (which I forgot to do earlier)... Oakland, Pittsburgh and Springfield (in Massachusetts).

The map never fully loaded for me; however: 
 

• My three most similar cities were NYC, Yonkers and Jersey City;
  
• My three least similar cities were Amarillo, Lubbock and Fort Worth.  
  

However, there were at least half a dozen questions for which my answers weren't similar to anything in America, so I wouldn't read too much into this!

Apparently, I sound most like someone from Minneapolis and least like someone from Amarillo. Although, being British, this is probably not very accurate. We need to find a British accent alternative.

It says Santa Clarita, Anaheim and Oceanside (all 3 are in California), eventhough basically the entire map was red except Michigan lol

Eehh I remember reading something years ago (that I can't find any more) talking about how the Midwest has the most in common accent wise with the British, some how the Midwestern regions kept a bit of the original British accent from the colonial period, so it is some what reasonable.

That being said, I am most lilke my home area and lease like New Orleans.
