While we were doing a clear-out of my grandparents' old house, we found the following maths exam, which my grandad sat all the way back in 1942 . I don't know how he did on it, but I uploaded it in order to show the kinds of questions that were asked back then:

Now obviously, I don't expect anybody to sit down for two hours to attempt the whole thing . However, if you want to try any individual questions, you're welcome to do so . Of if you just want to comment on how they compare to the exams that you sat (presumably in more recent years), then by all means go ahead and do that .
So, does this look like the sort of thing you could have a good go at if you had to - or is it too difficult ?
