RESULTS, EWA HORRORFEST, 22 OCTOBER 2023, VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Undoubtedly the largest crowd the EWA has ever had, with the HBC-1 Stadium having a crowd of 149 thousand plus on hand!
  • AM-Squared def. The Llanfair Bros. by pinfall. Practically a squash. Over after six minutes as Alec McIntyre just manhandled both brothers. You can tell who the real alpha male is in the Celtic nations right now! ;) He hit the Highland Fling on Martin Llanfair for the win without really even breaking a sweat throughout the match!
  • Alec Dundas def. Justinian MacGregor and Brendan Ross by submission (Oversized Cage Match, Standard Hardcore Rules, Triple Threat). In a battle of former True Brit stables, it was Dundas, representing the Clan McIntyre, that came out on top, not before he KOed fellow Canuck MacGregor with a stop sign outside! He finished it with a Cape Breton Clutch to get the embattled Cymru member to tap.
  • Death And Hades © def. The Gerhardt Girls (r.b. Rachel and Naomi Gerhardt) by pinfall to retain the EWA Women's Tag Team Championship. Not quite a squash, but even Rachel, one of the best women's wrestlers in EWA history, was no match for on-fire Persephone or her slightly psychotic partner Apollyon! Naomi was (kayfabe) injured by Apollyon on the outside as she had the other Gerhardt in the Cradle of Pain as Sephie hit the Clothesline from Hades followed by the Jillhammer for the win.
  • Turan Efendiyev © def. Vyacheslav Antropov by submission to retain the EWA TV Title. By the win-loss numbers, Slava is on a bit of a cold streak, but this was actually a really good matchup. Turan just keeps going from strength to strength, and it'll take a really big name to end this hot streak he is on!
  • A Double Dose Of Death © def. Red Power (r.b. Carly Jack and Lorne Christopher) by pinfall to retain the EWA Intergender Tag Team Championship
  • Kristina Efendiyeva © def. Viktore by knockout to retain EWA Women's TV Title. Of the defences by God Squad members, this was the closest, but Viktore missing a big boot when Krissie was trapped in the corner set Krissie up perfectly for the Krissie Kick to end the match, even though she was so tired she fell over in the process.
  • Leoni Lombardi (r.b. Paolo Scibetta and Ciro Pocena) def. The Wiseguys by pinfall. (Standard Hardcore match, narrow FCA rules, Antonio Sabatti barred from ringside). Squash. Paolo is looking better than ever!
  • Hakan Berat def. Jure Žabranič by pinfall to determine #1 contender for the Old World Title at Advent in November. Berat's best match in years if the pundits have anything to say about it! "Maybe he does deserve the shot! Oh well, at least he has it legit now!" - Kris Pathakos, Sr.
  • Joseph Ndali def. Georgios Pathakos, Cam Roško, Don George, Shavo Gurzadian, and Giammarco Scibetta (pc) in a Hardcore Hexagon (Hexagon match in oversized cage with Standard Hardcore Rules) for the EWA Americas Championship; this was an amazing matchup! Probably the most amazing part of it was seeing Joseph hit Last Rites on Giammarco off the top rope and pin him! But in spite of his relative Hardcore inexperience, Ndali was able to overcome the odds-favourite (and local favourite) Don George through smarts, speed, and the occasional kendo stick strike! He pinned three guys total, pinning Scibetta, Cam Roško, and finally George, who had himself already pinned Shavo Gurzadian. Georgios Pathakos went out disappointingly early, being hit by the Superheavyweight Splash after being Speared by Don George.
  • Lords of Lancashire © def. 2Kold by submission to retain the EWA Tag Team Championship. One of the biggest David and Goliath moments the EWA has ever seen, the two Blackpool natives were overpowered early by the much larger 2Kold, but showed their resilience and craftiness; arguably the turning point of this one was Nick wriggling out of the setup for Sebastian Brown's Whiteout and manoeuvring his way into a Sunset flip powerbomb. The shock of the turnaround gave him time to get Sebastian into a Lancashire Leg Lock in the middle of the ring, and even though Sebastian didn't tap, his legs and lower torso were in rough enough shape after he finally got to the ropes that he had to tag out. Sebastian's decreased mobility would be the X-factor here, as a blind tag by Trevor caught JP Myllyjärvi unawares. He was about to hit his finisher when Trevor (the legal man for the LoL) hit a slingshot falling reverse DDT. With Nick freed up, he went over and took Sebastian off the apron and down to the floor with a suicide crossbody as Trevor lugged the big Finn to the middle of the ring and locked in his own Lancashire Leg Lock. Although he was able to get a bit closer to the ropes, JP finally tapped.
  • Goran Šimeunović def. Antonio Sabatti by pinfall (Standard Hardcore match, narrow FCA rules, DQ only for interference); he didn't just beat him, he destroyed him. Antonio legit had to go into the biobed room as The Walking Tank beat him bloody in a brutal squash match. Tables were broken (no fewer than four!), at least one chair was dented (and no-sold; Antonio was terrified when The Walking Tank completely shrugged off being clocked with the steel chair!), OMG moments were made (a somewhat bloodied Sabatti still managed a tope suicida, Goran hit an over-the-shoulder powerbomb to the outside through a table, and the final blow, Goran hitting the Dalmatian Death Drop off the apron through a table for the 1-2-3), Joey went hoarse, and in the end, the expected result happened as one of EWA's Hardcore Triptych showed why Antonio was a complete idiot for accepting this match! :P "The Beast has been unleashed! Whoever faces him at Winter War needs to look out!"
  • Persephone © def. Gabazon and Yukiko Kawachi by pinfall to retain EWA Women's Championship (Triple Threat); an amazing display of resilience by Sephie; she kicked out of an attempt by Kawachi to pin both her and Gabazon simultaneously after the two hit each other with Clotheslines from Hell and kicked out of Gabazon's Spartan Driver, then somehow got the taller Gabazon up for a Chest Burster after throwing Kawachi out of the ring. 1-2-3.
  • Tris Marks def. Ryan O'Martin (Standard Hardcore match, broad FCA rules) by pinfall, but the result caused a split in the Hooligans, as Justinian MacGregor, Benny Thorvaldssen, and John Crane refused to submit to Tris on the issue, while Bruce Stuart and the ladies sided with Tris, and they had help from a couple of the Tier 2 Hooligans - newest additions The Dockers also came to Tris' aid.
  • Andros Pathakos def. Simon Magus by pinfall (Standard Hardcore match, narrow FCA rules); so many people told Simon he was crazy to do this match when he hadn't recovered from injury, and now he'll be out for at least a month and possibly the rest of the year!
  • Bassam al-Wadud © def. Ronnie Brown by pinfall to retain the EWA Cruiserweight Championship. Pretty solid matchup, almost a deadlock for much of it. But Bassam got the upper hand late and finished the match with the Tripoli Twist, and there were handshakes and a good pop after the match between the two Canadian citizens (Bassam lives in Summerland, BC, while Ronnie was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta). "THAT WAS AWESOME!!"
  • Mattias Vlahos © def. Dion Prince by pinfall to retain the EWA Hardcore Championship (Standard Hardcore match, broad FCA rules); not one to be outdone by the other members of the Hardcore Triptych, Death Incarnate took the full fight to Dion Prince, putting on a match that didn't just have a lot of hardcore moments (although it did have plenty of those, with both men going through a table at least once!) but also some good technical wrestling as well! As Silas McMorrigan rightly said, "This is why Mattias Vlahos isn't just a hardcore oik, but has several fuller championships to his name, including twelve EWA Old World Championship reigns and three EWA Championship reigns! He's one of a select few who can do absolutely everything in wrestling, and isn't too far removed for skill from his stablemate Dean Chapman!" He ended this one with a Tombstone Piledriver into a steel chair.
  • Elijah def. Željko Miljanović, Kaélos Pathakos, and Žydrunas Janvāris (pc) to win the EWA Old World Championship (Four-man elimination match, Hakan Berat barred from ringside; first reign!); Janvāris stuck around at the top of the ramp even after he was eliminated by Kaélos Pathakos, and Elijah eliminated both of the other contenders - he got Pathakos with the Eschaton after he powered out of the setup for a Kika Cutter and Pathakos tried to come back and hit him with a flying clothesline, and later, he finished the match with a pop-up Iconoclasm. Janvāris came down to congratulate Elijah, which was echoed post-match by Miljanović. Pathakos, being the heel that he is (currently anyway) just sulked.
  • Dean Chapman © def. Dominik Alexandros by submission in House of Horrors match (oversized cage set on fire, Standard Hardcore rules) to retain the EWA Championship; this match was intense, and after the match ended, Dominik had to go to the biobed room with first-degree burns on his back and left shoulder after being thrown hard into the cage. (Said the Insane Thessalonian in an interview later, "had he not thrown me as hard as he had it would probably have been a higher degree of burn." ) He tapped almost instantly after Dean locked in Hypothermia. But it was also Dean who grabbed a fire extinguisher and began to snuff out parts of the cell that were still burning and open the door to the cell to get Dominik out, after which a med-tech threw a bucket of ice water over the affected area to slow down any blistering.
So what's next for the God Squad now that they have all the gold? The seemingly split Working Class Hooligans also have some issues to work out! Tune in tomorrow to Excelsior from Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver!

RESULTS, EWA EXCELSIOR, 23 OCTOBER 2023, VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA
  • The God Squad arrives to a huge pop as the entirety of Tier 1's gold belongs to them, and they perform something of a religious ceremony, "laying the belts at the feet of Our Lord and Saviour." After this is finished (as if on cue), they are challenged by Žydrunas Janvāris, who isn't after Elijah's Old World Title, but Dean Chapman's EWA Title! "You know I'm overdue for that belt, Dean. So wha'd'ya say?"
  • Backstage, Ryan O'Martin announces the breakoff faction of "The Separatists," which more immediately includes Benny Thorvaldssen, John Crane, and Justinian MacGregor, but Ryan also hints that Tier 2 has its own set. And he plans to "bury" Tris Marks.
  • Blacademix def. The Bog Boys by pinfall; Rasheed then tells the Lords of Lancashire, "We're comin' for your belts!"
  • Nadja def. Alice Fleury by pinfall; Alice just can't seem to catch a break lately!
  • Backstage in an interview, 2Kold admit defeat and give props to the Lords of Lancashire for making smart decisions to defeat them, but then they say they're both going for singles gold, with Sebastian Brown calling out Mattias Vlahos and JP Myllyjärvi having a go at Joseph Ndali. But just when they thought they'd get through the interview without someone else coming up on them, The Insane Thessalonian himself, Dominik Alexandros, tells Sebastian to "get in line."
  • An injury update from Kris Senior - Domenico Pocena, Simon Magus, and Gerry Granger are confirmed to be missing Advent in November, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina; Pocena is scheduled to be back halfway between Advent and Winter War in Helsinki, Finland - so probably early December, Gerry will probably be back around the same time, but Simon, who was told not to wrestle but wrestled a hardcore match anyway (kayfabe; he was actually written out for IRL surgery) will now not be back until the new year. Kristi Pathakos ("my dear daughter-in-law") is close to returning from her facial injury in Luxembourg on September 30th; finally, Naomi Gerhardt was (kayfabe) injured by Apollyon in their tag-team match last night, and she will be out "max two and a half weeks with biobed treatment, possibly as little time as one week."
  • Akiko Sakaki def. Kristina Efendiyeva (pc) to win the EWA Women's TV Title! (Fourth reign) At least they had "all the gold" long enough to do a ceremony for it, but Miss Tall, Dark, and Kawaii caught Krissie napping a little, and the Montenegrin-Canadian paid the price as the stronger Sakaki powered through to a victory, although she seemed to be a bit irked that there were a few boos for the wrestler who is normally a face. (Given how Efendiyeva has lived in BC since 2003, though, is it any surprise?)
  • The Double Eagle def. The Constanţiu Twins by pinfall.
  • Takhir Teteriuk def. Marat Gurzadian by pinfall. After the match, the popular Kazakh says he's got "a hankering for some gold" and tells the locker room to "watch out!"
  • Turan Efendiyev issues an "open challenge" to anyone who wants a shot at his TV title, but bit off a little more than he could chew! Kaélos Pathakos def. Turan Efendiyev (pc) to win the EWA TV Title! (Nineteenth reign) Still upset at losing his Old World Championship bout last night, Kika says that "taking the belt away from this fundamentalist bozo serves as a nice consolation prize," to a chorus of boos. "But I've got bigger gold on my mind!"
  • When he got to his locker room, Kaélos found everything covered in ice and snow. He cursed in Greek as he realized he had a huge problem on his hands.
  • The Unstoppables def. Nicky & Fran by pinfall, after which Dean Chapman cuts a promo on Kaélos Pathakos.
  • Janne Myllyjärvi def. Wheelz by pinfall.
  • Ricardo Benitez explains his absence since Equinox, requiring a different #1 contender to face Bassam al-Wadud, as he had actually contracted COVID a couple days later, but he warns the Lebanese-Palestinian that "At Advent, I'm coming for what's mine."
  • Gylych Turesbekov def. Sebastian van Eijkeren by pinfall.
  • MAIN EVENT: Joseph Ndali © def. Tristan Vlahos by pinfall to retain the EWA Americas Championship; Tristan returns from a month-long vacation to try his luck at some gold, but Ndali is up to the task. It was a pretty good match overall!
Even though "All The Gold" didn't even last 24 hours, the God Squad still retains nine of the eleven active championships. But how much longer will that last? And will it be Dean Chapman, the current EWA Champ, to end Kaélos Pathakos' new reign as TV Champ? And will Akiko Sakaki outlast Ruth Chisiza for the Women's TV Title? We'll see on Wednesday - stay tuned for Uprising from Calgary, Alberta!

RESULTS, EWA UP-AND-COMING, 24 OCTOBER 2023, MONTPELLIER, FRANCE
  • The combatants for the vacant Women's TV Title (dropped by Ágata after defending it against Pavlina on Throwdown) were announced as Eva Clark and Shannon Kim!
  • Tama Nimo and Harumi Kitagawa arrive hand-in-hand and Harumi blushing.
  • Armand de Vlieger def. Gamboa by pinfall.
  • The MK-Twins def. Saimi Attinen and Irina Valdez by pinfall.
  • Sexy Streamer comes out and cuts a promo on Eva Clark, who comes roaring out to jump her.
  • The Magnussens def. Made In Ukraine by submission.
  • Shannon Kim def. Eva Clark by pinfall to win the vacant Tier 2 Women's TV Title, but not without help from Sexy Streamer.
  • Afato Tulupu def. Radko Bekesza by pinfall.
  • Shannon Kim confronts Sexy Streamer about her interference in the match, and the busty Mexican counters by calling her an "ungrateful bitch" and attacking her, leading to a backstage brawl between The Beautiful People and The Kombat Klub. Conspicuous by her absence is Aaliyah.
  • Tama Nimo and Harumi Kitagawa © def. The Reaper and Isobel to retain the Tier 2 Intergender Tag Team Championship! It was actually a really fun match to watch!
  • MAIN EVENT: Robbie Irschick def. Kalolo Maivia (pc) by pinfall to win the Tier 2 TV Title! This was quite a good match, but the Merc Gone Legit showed just how strong he really is. There was mutual respect after the match with the handshakes.
Tomorrow's Blitz should be interesting with the tensions between the Kombat Klub and the Beautiful People, male and female alike; there's even a rumour that some Klubbers from Tier 1 will be in Genoa! And of course, this comes as Sexy Streamer is next on the list to vie for the Women's TV Title, but Eva Clark is going to want some payback! Plus, Kadreddin Nabiyev has his first match since ceasing to be Lord Dredd, taking on Seven, and Robbie Irschick has his first title defence of this Tier 2 TV Title reign against veteran Timi Vinidi!

RESULTS, EWA SLOBBERKNOCKER, 24 OCTOBER 2023, MEDELLÍN, COLOMBIA
  • Angel Lorenzo Batista announces that Your Worst Nightmares has to face The Kipchak Connection and Terje Grimseth as punishment for attacking the same last Thursday in Quito.
  • The Kartuli Kids def. The Wanderers by pinfall - the rookies get their first-ever win between the two of them, with Asmat Makhashvili hitting her newly renamed Kartuli Cutter on Naheed for the 1-2-3.
  • The Temurjyan Brothers def. Team Estonia by pinfall.
  • Terje Grimseth cuts a heated promo on Your Worst Nightmares, calling Rögnvaldur in particular a "hypocrite the likes of which the Pharisees could only dream of being" for saying The Unblack Attack "had no right" to give Bokoyev the rematch - "Think, you big blued-up moron! I wouldn't have had to give that rematch had you not interfered in it! Mark my words, given the opportunity, I will give you a double portion of what I give those two demonic marks you call stablemates!"
  • Hot Rod def. The Assassin by pinfall. HUGE pop for Medellín's native son!
  • Talia Lundmark def. Lucimar Junqueira (pc) by pinfall to win the Tier 3 Women's TV Title! While it seems we've entered a streak of title defence failures, we'll have to see how Talia fares at Tier 3 Thursday in Barranquilla.
  • Spurgeon MacEachern © def. Steve Jeffers by pinfall to retain the Tier 3 TV Title, but after the matchup he opted to vacate the belt and start a title run of a different sort - going after the Tier 3 Americas Championship held by Serik Ibrashev!
  • MAIN EVENT: The Kipchak Connection (Zamir Bokoyev and Serik Ibrashev) and Terje Grimseth def. Your Worst Nightmares by submission in a Trios match. While the official match ended when Bokoyev made Kristian Bogišić tap, not only did Bokoyev not break the hold but Terje Grimseth turned the setup to his Djent Cutter into a crucifix Iconoclasm and put Rögnvaldur through the announce table. In spite of the best efforts of security to break things up, it ended with two of the three members of YWN injured (one legit, one kayfabe).
  • After the final match, an advertisement comes up for EWA NextGen, the official training program, and some of the top wrestlers soon to come forth who are children of current EWA wrestlers and might debut in the EWA themselves within the next couple of years; some of these include Agamemnon, Leonidas, and Ariadne Pathakos (sons and daughter of Stephen and Lydia Pathakos), Stelios Kousouris (Alexi Kousouris' son; he also has a daughter who is uninterested in such things), Paula and Butrus Al-Nazr (children of Japhet al-Nazr), Bruce Stuart, Jr., Luigi de Vlieger (Armand de Vlieger's son and nephew to Giammarco and Paolo Scibetta), Valen Prince (Dion Prince's eldest son), and Jasmine Young (Rasheed Young's only daughter and eldest child). There are also some younger talents who have no previous IntFam connection. Keep an eye out for these, too!
Tier 3 Thursday ends its stint in South America in Barranquilla on Thursday, where Talia Lundmark has to face Brisa for the Tier 3 Women's TV Title, while the main event will be an Octagon elimination match to crown a new Tier 3 TV Title, and Spurgeon MacEachern looks to boost his stock by besting Jamaal Andrews in a non-title match!

(This post was last modified: 10-27-2023, 06:33 AM by Jarkko.)
RESULTS, EWA UPRISING, 25 OCTOBER 2023, CALGARY, ALBERTA
  • Hokkaido Harrier def. Marko Zarragoitía by pinfall.
  • 2Kold arrives to a large pop! Their wives/sisters (remember, Sebastian and JP married each other's sisters!) give them the news that the booked main event is for the TV Title, which annoys Sebastian and has JP scratching his head. "Who the hell is Kika facing that it's gonna be the main event?"
  • Mariah Gerhardt def. Rosa Pathakos by submission.
  • Rhoda Gálavez def. Gaill McIntyre by pinfall.
  • Dominik Alexandros and Grigor Zagorakis have a discussion about what they should do next after Dominik's failed EWA Title bid, and come to the conclusion that they should pursue the Tag Team Championships.
  • Gylych Turesbekov def. Dok by pinfall, in spite of attempted interference by Jack Smith.
  • Ruth Chisiza def. Akiko Sakaki (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA Women's TV Title! (Sixth reign) Chisiza was just too strong for Sakaki.
  • The Djinn def. Alec Dundas by pinfall
  • Mattias Vlahos comes out and cuts a promo on all of his would-be challengers, having with him a spinning wheel with various names on it. "Really, for those who aren't in the Hardcore Triptych, with the form I've been on, if you think you have a chance in hell, you're an idiot. Sebastian Brown? Idiot. Natane Huboka? Idiot. Minas Tenkerian? Idiot. Marko Myllyjärvi? Idiot. Demitros Lavriakis? Idiot. Tris Marks? MAJOR idiot. Nik Bogdanovič... ehh... possible exception. But y'all know how it is. Idiots here, idiots there..."  And the fans finished "...idiots idiots everywhere!" "Damn, you're catching on! In any case, I'm putting my strap on the line tonight. I'm gonna save Nik for Advent because he deserves it the most. So he's not on the wheel. Let's see which idiot I get to face tonight!" And he spun the wheel. "Well, ride a painted pony! The spinning wheel has spun and we got ourselves a humdinger! Get your ass out here, Tristan! Death is at your door, knocking loudly!"
  • Mattias Vlahos © def. Tris Marks by pinfall to retain the EWA Hardcore Championship. He was a little irked by the interference by The Separatists but Tris was already busted open by the time they got out, and Death Incarnate eventually put him through a flaming table anyway, using his patented Death's Sickle. 1-2-3.
  • Kaélos Pathakos is approached by his twin brother, Georgios, who really wants to know who Kika is facing in the main event. Kaélos' response is worrying. "Officially speaking, I don't know. But I'm pretty sure I know who it is. And if I'm right, I'm gonna need all the help I can get." Georgios scoffs at this. "Dude, you've been nothing but a prick to the rest of your family for the last year plus! I don't care if it's Dean Chapman! You're on your own! And if it's him, I'm pretty sure I know why! It certainly doesn't help matters that you were a total jerk to Turan Efendiyev last week!"
  • Devin Elliss def. Benny Thorvaldssen by pinfall; the ref didn't see Bruce Stuart's interference against Thorvaldssen!
  • JP Myllyjärvi def. Yiannis Andreas Kazakis by submission. Good fight from the much-smaller Kazakis but
  • Mattias Vlahos is attacked backstage by Sebastian Brown, but the lights go out; when they come back up, Brown is a shivering mess buried in the wreckage of a table.
  • MAIN EVENT: Dean Chapman def. Kaélos Pathakos (pc) by knockout to win the EWA TV Title (11th reign), and it wasn't a long match at all. Rosa Pathakos wanted to at least distract Dean, but was prevented from doing so by Apollyon, who Speared her out of her wrestling boots then forced her to watch as Dean Chapman delivered the Brain Freeze to end the match. Not surprisingly, he vacated the belt immediately thereafter, having equalled his own record for shortest TV Title reign. "'Fundamentalist bozo,' eh? Next time, choose your words more carefully... you rich brat."
So who is going to contend for the TV Title on Roughhousin'? We do know that Ruth Chisiza has to face Danae Pathakos, but with the men's TV Title vacant, it could be just about anyone! And there is tension within the First Family for the millionth time, as it seems this time that Kaélos has made a black sheep of himself! Mattias Vlahos is almost certain to fight Sebastian Brown, although whether or not he'll put his belt on the line remains to be seen! And Tris Marks' troubles with the Separatists continue to intensify! Join us in Billings, Montana for Roughhousin'!

RESULTS, EWA BLITZ, 25 OCTOBER 2023, GENOA, ITALY
  • A furious Eva Clark starts out by calling Sexy Streamer out for her actions on Up-And-Coming, which sparks The Beautiful People coming out as a stable and telling her to "do something about it." But then the unmistakable music of the Kombat Klub hits and all-out war starts, especially with two unexpected guests! Eva and the three Kombat Klub women teed off against their counterparts, until Aaliyah noped out of there, marking the second episode in a row where she has done something questionable. With Indochina booked for a match and The Nauruan National Wrestling Team nowhere to be found, though, the men were outnumbered... until the Tongan Tower, Natane Huboka showed up and absolutely destroyed all three of the "Beautiful Men," throwing Gamboa out of the ring with a Military Press before locking the Tongan Death Grip on Théo Beaujean and Jimmy Mboya.
  • Diesel Montgomery def. Big A Wambo by pinfall.
  • Sexy Streamer gets into a heated argument with Aaliyah backstage for "leaving early," then reminds her of how she didn't show up on Up-And-Coming; Aaliyah counters by calling her a "heartless fake-breasted slut" for which the Mexican slaps her hard enough to knock her over. As if she didn't have enough people to watch out for though, the Mourit Triplets (who are Aaliyah's RL sisters-in-law) come to her rescue and Sexy Streamer runs back out to the ring.
  • Shannon Kim © def. Sexy Streamer by disqualification to retain the Tier 2 Women's TV Title after Kris Pathakos, Jr. puts The Beautiful People on blast for being disruptive. Then Aaliyah storms out, grabs the microphone from the Tier 2 boss, and says she is done with The Beautiful People, and that "Oksana was right about you the whole time, and even the guys [Theo, Jimmy, and Gamboa] wouldn't have anything to do with you if not for the fact you slept with every last one of them, you whore!" Things getting heated here!
  • Kadreddin Nabiyev def. Seven by pinfall. We saw the human Nabiyev anew in his first matchup back since ceasing to be "Lord Dredd." No longer cold and mechanical in his tactics, he brought back certain moves from his older repertoire and fought with serious fire, which is interesting, because he has renamed his finisher the "Immolation!" Kollector tried to get the jump on him afterwards but was subjected to his own finishing move, the Soul Stealer, which left him gagging!
  • Big O def. Akintunde by pinfall.
  • Andreas Koellendamm def. Pala Dolkar by pinfall.
  • The Stooges def. Dockers by pinfall.
  • It seems Tungsten hasn't forgotten the promise Lord Dredd made him, and how he failed to deliver on it; he threatens Kadreddin Nabiyev back stage.
  • Robbie Irschick © def. Timi Vinidi by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 TV Title, and boy was this match close! The fans loved it!
  • Tier 2 Cruiserweight Champion Ash Stevenson does a worked shoot promo on Tris Marks and declares himself "stable free."
  • Warren Thomson calls a backstage meeting to discuss the Tier 1 split of the Hooligans, and while the defeated Dockers reaffirm their loyalty to Tris, The Goons try to get their fellow Canadian (Riley O'Bannon) to see reason, but all he does is attack Colby Shelley over it; the bigger Goon calls him "fake Irishman," referring to Separatist leader Ryan O'Martin. Big Wozz says the two tag teams need to "settle their differences like real men," so they decide to ask for a match on Throwdown.
  • The All-Blacks def. Straight Outta GQ (Gamboa and Théo Beaujean) by pinfall. This was too easy given the beating they received from Natane Huboka earlier in the night!
  • The Samoan Studs def. Indochina by pinfall, with a smitten Harumi Kitagawa looking on in approval!
  • MAIN EVENT: Sookie Sam © def. Aurėlijus Maklėvičius by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 EWA Championship. It seems there's no stopping Sookie!
The Beautiful People situation continues to get uglier! The women are now fighting a two-front war against former comrades after Aaliyah left the stable. Will the Mourits' desire for an all-Arab stable now come to fruition? And will the Ice Queens become allies with Aaliyah and the Mourits, or will it become a three-way war? Also, the Kombat Klub's wrath is now hanging over them like a Sword of Damocles, especially amongst the men, as Shawn Agir and Kennan Aroi are now furious with Straight Outta GQ and with Jimmy Mboya as well! Perhaps TBP need to start recruiting again! But with Sexy Streamer's improprieties starting to come to the forefront, will they actually be able to? Finally, will Eva Clark finally change her scheming ways and align herself with the Kombat Klub?

Other stories to follow - Tungsten's match against Nabiyev, the ongoing shenanigans of the Abominations, Working Class Hooligans' Tier 2 split, and the Tier 2 TV Titles, Tag Team Championship, and EWA Championship all on the line as Friday night Throwdown comes from Florence (or Firenze, if you prefer)!

RESULTS, EWA ROUGHHOUSIN', 26 OCTOBER 2023, BILLINGS, MONTANA

(Just a side note, this was one of the best-selling events in city history!)
  • Kris Pathakos, Sr. opened the show by announcing two matches. The first would pit his twin sons, Kaélos and Georgios, against the Bog Boys, in the hopes that it would help assuage tensions within the family; the second match would be for the vacant EWA TV Title, and was booked between JMV and Lorne Christopher, the two highest-rated men who had never won the belt.
  • Sha-Boogie def. Sapphira by submission.
  • Danae Pathakos def. Ruth Chisiza (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA Women's TV Title! (Second reign)
  • The Bog Boys def. The Pathakos Twins by pinfall; not only does this not heal the tension between the twins, but it makes it even worse! Kaélos' refusal to tag Georgios out results in a chorus of boos, but the taller of the two manages to kick out of a couple of big moves, including Gordan Bogdanovič's Dan-Ton Bomb. Kaélos' blind tag in backfires, as Nikolaj sees and hears it and starts screaming bloody murder at Gordan about it; in probably the biggest OMG moment of the match, Gordan Spears Kaélos through the ropes to the outside after jumping clear over a hunched-over Georgios and the fans go absolutely bonkers! "HOLY !@#$ HOLY !@#$" Georgios exits the ring and gets off the ring apron, preventing Kaélos from tagging him in, and Nik, just having tagged in, hits him with the Black Sea Blitz for the 1-2-3. After the match, the twins argue, then Kaélos attempts a Kika Cutter but Georgios slips out of it, locks in an inverted Half Nelson then nails him with High Culture as the Billings crowd starts chanting his name.
  • JMV def. Lorne Christopher to win the vacant EWA TV Title! (First reign!) This was a fun match to watch between two higher-end cruiserweights! The Chilean JMV is now no longer the highest-rated man to have never won it as he hit his thrilling finisher, the Atacama Bomb, for the 1-2-3.
  • Brothers In Arms def. Enosis by submission; Erkin Buzurbayev made Moustapha Berat tap with the Chagatai Choke.
  • Tris goes off on a profanity-laced tirade when Gerry Granger phones to tell him that there are problems in Tier 2 now as well.
  • Tris Marks def. John Crane by pinfall; the match was clean, much to the surprise of Joey Styles and co.!
  • MAIN EVENT: Mattias Vlahos © def. Sebastian Brown by pinfall to retain the EWA Hardcore Championship. "You brought this on yourself, idiot!" Sebastian took two Tombstone Piledrivers into chairs from the much shorter Vlahos, after being reversed into a table in the corner when he was trying to Spear Death Incarnate into it.
How long will JMV hold his first-ever TV Title reign? On Maniacal he faces Gylych Turesbekov, so we'll see! On the women's side of things, Danae Pathakos has what should be an easier match in Scary Sally, but who knows? Will Mattias Vlahos spin the Idiot Wheel again? We'll see in Olympia, Washington!

RESULTS, EWA TIER 3 THURSDAY, 26 OCTOBER 2023, BARRANQUILLA, COLOMBIA
  • Terje Grimseth kicks this off with a promo, explaining why he gave Zamir Bokoyev the rematch he did and openly expressing hope that "down the road" he'll "be given another crack at the gold." But he says that right now his focus is elsewhere - specifically on Rögnvaldur, with whom he now has a massive problem. He rips the Icelander for "still being as big a hypocrite as ever" after the guy shot on him at a house show in Cartagena just down the road and basically whined about how he abandoned the "traditions of his forefathers," which Terje labelled as barbaric, immoral, and grossly outdated. "My MO right now is to bring you to your knees in repentance! And your Nightmare friends won't be able to help you with this one! Last time I checked, Kristijan Bogišić was in biobed therapy because Mr. Bokoyev dislocated his left shoulder, and The Phantom got so wrecked by Mr. Ibrashev that he needed back surgery!" (The latter was actually half-true; he did need back surgery, but Ibrashev's Kipchak Crunch on Tuesday was a later aggravating factor, not a direct cause.)
  • Karim Niang def. Chris Malunga by pinfall.
  • Michael Siddhu def. Turbo Tino by pinfall.
  • The Barranquilla fans are given quite a pleasant surprise when the Tier 2 Women's Champion, Ágata, shows up! She is a native of Barranquilla. She explains that Irina Valdez has "too much drama going on" to make the trip.
  • Lech Osmulski def. Reid Jeffers by pinfall.
  • Marcin Djokić & Martina Krstajić def. SKN Forever by pinfall in something of an upset!
  • Miss Natasha sulks at being the only member of Canadian Girls Kick Ass! without gold, but Sonya Craig says she's going to try and get her stablemate and tag-team partner a TV Title match for next Tuesday on Slobberknocker.
  • Spurgeon MacEachern def. Jamaal Andrews by pinfall; it was a good match and both wrestlers were applauded as they shook hands. Still, one has to think that this puts Big Spurge in consideration for even the Tier 3 EWA Championship!
  • Brisa def. Talia Lundmark (pc) by submission to win the Tier 3 Women's TV Title! Talia tried to cheat by having Sigrid run interference for her, but Ágata stopped her cold with a Yakuza kick, drawing a massive pop from the crowd.
  • Ágata def. Sonya Craig by pinfall (non-title match); truly a main event-worthy match between the champions of two tiers, and Ágata put Sonya over in a promo afterwards, saying she "could easily contend for [her] belt in Tier 2!"
  • MAIN EVENT: Kicham Alami def. Vadim Covalciuc, Mr. Wilson, Xiang Zhi-Han, Lukas Gölz, Oleksander Matviyenko, Rihard Pretner, and Lukašs Berziņš to win the vacant Tier 3 TV Title! (Second reign) Better known as a tag team wrestler (as is evidenced by the fact that he is indeed the current Tier 3 Tag Team Champion along with El Águila Marroquí), Kicham does have some singles chops as well and looked quite good in this matchup. Some pundits looking at this match afterward wondered what Berziņš was even doing in the matchup as he basically got squashed by the veteran Covalciuc; probably the most compelling rivalry within this match was "Covi" and the Slovene Rihard Pretner, which the latter eventually came out on top in through a lot of fight!
The fans definitely showed their appreciation for the wrestlers of EWA, and were very pleased to see "their woman" Ágata not only win a very hard-fought match, but also help keep a match clean, although Sigrid ended up in the biobed room! It seems that Angel Lorenzo Batista listened to Sonya Craig's request backstage, though, as Brisa's next opponent is none other than Miss Natasha! As for Kicham Alami, he will kick off his TV Title defences against Caribbean Connection member Denzel Bryant. So be sure to come back next Tuesday, as Slobberknocker comes from Panama City!

Schedule until and including next PPV
  • Halloween 2023 - Slobberknocker, Panama City, Panama
  • 2 November 2023 - Tier 3 Thursday, Alajuela, Costa Rica
  • 7 November 2023 - Slobberknocker, San Pedro Sula, Honduras
  • 9 November 2023 - Tier 3 Thursday, Belize City, Belize
  • 11 November 2023 (non-wrestling, non-kayfabe) - Remembering The World Wars: Tier 3 Discusses World Wars I and II, filmed in Miami, Florida
  • 14 November 2023 - Slobberknocker, Kingston, Jamaica
  • 16 November 2023 - Tier 3 Thursday, San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • 18 November 2023 - EWA Mayhem, Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago
And after that, all roads lead to Helsinki for Winter War in December!

RESULTS, EWA THROWDOWN, 27 OCTOBER 2023, FIRENZE, ITALY
  • Tirone and The Stooges come out to cut a promo, explaining why their planned match against Armand de Vlieger and "two partners of his choosing" didn't happen at Total War - long story short, he got sick (this is legit rather than kayfabe, he came down with the flu) and asked Kris Pathakos, Jr. to cancel the match, even though he didn't quite (this is kayfabe; it was simply rebooked). "Don't worry, for those who actually want to see me get my ass kicked, or for those who want me to kick that two-timing Belgian segaiolo's teeth down his throat, that match will instead happen tonight!"
  • The Robanos def. Tsunneko (Harumi Kitagawa and Kaori Niihara) by pinfall.
  • Shii-Chan def. Sanyu by pinfall. Introduced by Hiroko Motomori as the newest member of the Trope Troupe, Shii-Chan ran rout over Sanyu as EWA brought someone up from Tier 3 to replace Ágata in the roster temporarily. The move would eventually be announced as "permanent" for the next season. Kris Pathakos, Jr. announced that the promotion-relegation board has decided to give her Foluke's spot in the Tier 2 roster a little bit early (remember, Foluke was kayfabe relegated to Tier 3 by Kris Senior for violating a no-interference policy that he had put in specifically to curtail Prosperity's interference in matches; IRL this was so Foluke could have knee surgery; Foluke actually suggested voluntary relegation). "It would've been Sonya Craig but she turned it down because she still has the gold!"
  • Halcone def. Valenciano by pinfall.
  • Kadreddin Nabiyev def. Tungsten by pinfall. "I didn't need to be Lord Dredd to be better than you, scrap heap!" Something tells me the beef between these two isn't over!
  • Aaliyah is backstage with the Mourit Triplets and Nassim Toual discussing future plans when Team Palestine and Zafir al-Qawad walk in. "We couldn't convince ibn Fatih or Japhet al-Nazr to leave their current stables," Nassim said, "but we at least managed to talk the other Arabs into joining! I'm still waiting on a response from that Big Rock friend of mine." (Referring to Dom Adami, who is Maltese.)
  • Robbie Irschick © def. Fabrice Lacroix by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 TV Title.
  • Jeff Kokapik def. Lothar Schmidt by pinfall.
  • The Goons have a discussion with Warren Thomson, trying to get him to "see reason" with regards to Tris Marks. Thomson appears to be unimpressed.
  • A backstage meeting sees Aaliyah apologize to Oksana Khvostova for "not seeing the signs earlier," and it seems that, while the two will remain in separate stables, there will be mutual respect between the two.
  • Samira def. Shannon Kim (pc) by pinfall; yet again, it's the Kombat Klub's fight with The Beautiful People boiling to the surface, and Samira had no idea what actually happened.
  • Armand de Vlieger, Major Mitch, and Jabrail def. Tirone and The Stooges by pinfall (Trios match). Armand enlists the help of the ACA to take down Cosa Nostra!
  • As Sexy Streamer brags about screwing Shannon Kim out of the TV Title to the men of The Beautiful People, the latter are jumped unceremoniously by the Nauruans Shawn Agir and Kennan Aroi, followed closely behind by Karti Paramita, who superkicks Gamboa through a door. Sexy Streamer runs off.
  • The Efendiyev Twins © def. Marco Robano and Benito Guerrera by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 Tag Team Championships; they are promptly attacked by The Abominations, and by the time the other Edgecrushers get out there they are already running away cackling.
  • The first match for First Blood is officially set! An EWA first - a 4-way trios match - will see The Beautiful People butt heads with The Ice Queens, The Kombat Klub (represented by Shannon Kim, Rasuna, and Qian Qian-Min), and the newly formed Arab League (Aaliyah and two of the Mourit Triplets)! The announcement of this match is heavily secured so that it doesn't degenerate into a fist-fight, but Aaliyah claims to have found "dirt" on Sexy Streamer that even the two remaining Beautiful People other than her (Irina Valdez and Saimi Attinen) will find "so infuriating that even [they] would ditch that fat-!@#$ed cow." Uh-oh.
  • The Goons def. Dockers by pinfall; while Riley O'Bannon refused to turn his back on Tris Marks, he left his back turned to Warren Thomson for just a bit too long as the Aussie stunned everyone by declaring his allegiance to Ryan O'Martin with a low blow as the Nova Scotian was about to whack Tommy Thorpe in the head with a chair with the referee having been dizzied earlier. Thomson slid out as the referee came to, in time for Thorpe to tag out, and Colby Shelley Speared O'Bannon then finished the job with his Game Misconduct. After the match, Warren Thomson said that he was "done with Tris Marks."
  • Eva Clark comes out and cuts a worked shoot promo on Sexy Streamer considering her "body count."
  • MAIN EVENT: Sookie Sam © def. Taiaho to retain the Tier 2 Championship. Sam is on a roll right now! But this was a good match, so don't be surprised if Taiaho pops up in other title divisions soon!
An eventful Throwdown will give way to an interesting week starting in Bari! Will new Women's TV Title Samira take issue with how her match was interfered with? Can anyone stop Sookie Sam? And how will The Beautiful People hold together in such a multi-front war, especially with the info that Eva Clark claims to have on Sexy Streamer's shenanigans? Find out how the story progresses on Up-And-Coming next Tuesday!

RESULTS, EWA MANIACAL, 28 OCTOBER 2023, OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON
  • This episode starts out with Mattias Vlahos spinning the Idiot Wheel again, with the "winner" getting to face him in the night's main event. "Well, if it isn't everyone's favourite Armidiot, Minas Tenkerian! COME ON DOWN! You're the next contestant on The Price Is A Dance With Death!"
  • Kris Pathakos, Jr. def. Brendan Ross by pinfall. Seems Tier 2's boss needed to let off some steam, so he flew in from Italy (to where he'll be returning by next Tuesday as Up-And-Coming is in Bari) to wrestle a match against embattled Welshman Brendan Ross. It wasn't a total squash, but Ross looked a bit deflated.
  • Danae Pathakos © def. Scary Sally by pinfall to retain the EWA Women's TV Title; not a squash, not an epic match, but kinda somewhere in between. Sally looked okay, but Danae looked like the 14-time Women's Champion she is!
  • Ryan O'Martin cuts a promo on Tris Marks about the goings-on in Tier 2.
  • Vaško Prodanović def. Benny Thorvaldssen by pinfall.
  • Gahiji Kayibanda def. Marat Gurzadian by pinfall.
  • Gylych Turesbekov def. JMV (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA TV Title! (Third reign) The Terror of the Tengri-Tagh won this in quite spectacular fashion, because all it took was one error by JMV for this near-deadlock to be broken - the Chilean neglected to check and make sure Turesbekov was sufficiently stunned to go for a frog splash, and Turesbekov actually caught him in mid-air, put him in a Fireman's Carry, and hand-springing into the Tien Shan Twister. 1-2-3-new champ.
  • Jere Autissa cuts a promo about how he is sick of being overlooked for title runs, but is challenged by Paolo Scibetta to "prove himself," leading to a match: Paolo Scibetta def. Jere Autissa by pinfall, but it was close, and Scibetta said, "Okay, you lost, but maybe you have a bit of a point. Maybe Kris Senior could get you into the TV Title rotation again! That wasn't bad at all!" Handshakes ensued, and both went to the back.
  • MAIN EVENT: Mattias Vlahos © def. Minas Tenkerian by pinfall to retain the EWA Hardcore Title (Standard Hardcore match, narrow-rules FCA). Joey Styles made a funny during the match by quoting Tony Schiavone from an early 2000s WCW video game. "This is a vulgar display of brutality, but the fans love it! ... Am I doing it right, guys?" To which Silas McMorrigan, Kris Pathakos, Sr., and Gail Kim all just laughed. But the real highlight was MV actually able to perform Death's Sickle off the top rope on the big Armenian, through a table, getting the expected "oh my God" from Joey Styles:
Spoiler

RESULTS, EWA EXCELSIOR, 30 OCTOBER 2023, SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
  • Lorne Christopher def. Shakira by pinfall. A good solid cruiserweight matchup!
  • A meeting of the Tris Marks loyalists backstage.
  • Mattias Vlahos spins the Idiot Wheel again, getting Marko Myllyjärvi. "We got the idiot midget this time!"
  • Ram Sangra def. Bruce Stuart by pinfall; after the match, Bruce is attacked from behind by John Crane.
  • Danae Pathakos © def. Linn by pinfall to retain the EWA Women's TV Title.
  • The God Squad meets backstage; Dean and Nick lead the meeting as they discuss who potential next challengers. Dean and Elijah know theirs already - Žydrunas Janvāris and Hakan Berat respectively - while Joseph Ndali has opted to let JP Myllyjärvi have his crack as the evening's main event; Mattias Vlahos outright says that Nik Bogdanovič is probably going to be the one that gives him "an actual challenge" and as such has left him for Advent if he makes it that far. "The rest, as I've said, are a bunch of idiots." As for the Cruiserweight Championship, Bassam says he "really doesn't know" who's going to end up the next contender because there are so many potential challengers! Nick quips that he's surprised Dean hasn't challenged him and Trevor with Andros Pathakos, because they have been, as their tag team name has implied, unstoppable. Trevor suggests that Blacademix is probably the best bet. For Intergender Tag (currently held by Mattias and Apollyon), Apollyon says that the best bet is probably Gabazon and Jure Žabranič, although there are "plenty of other good teams that could challenge, and she says she "honestly doesn't know" about Women's Tag. Persephone ends by mentioning a list of "worthy women" that are looking for the belt.
  • KoldChix def. Yaki-Da by submission.
  • The Double Eagle def. Roughnex by pinfall.
  • Jere Autissa def. Gylych Turesbekov (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA TV Title! We now have a four-champion streak of TV Champs who have been unable (or in Dean Chapman's case, unwilling) to defend their gold! But it was actually a pretty good match!
  • Les Guerriers Urbains (DJ Jojo Roti and Sha-Boogie) def. The Covenant Couple (Avi Kalan and Rachel Gerhardt) by pinfall.
  • The Clan McIntyre meets The Separatists to offer something of an alliance, since The Seps don't have any women in their ranks.
  • Mattias Vlahos © def. Marko Myllyjärvi by pinfall to retain the EWA Hardcore Championship. Marko did surprisingly well, but still came up well short!
  • The Unstoppables def. The Two Titans by pinfall, and it wasn't nearly as close as we thought it would be!
  • JP Myllyjärvi is seen preparing backstage for his main-event match against Joseph Ndali when he is confronted by Don George.
  • Vyacheslav Antropov def. Jure Žabranič by pinfall, snapping a miniature losing streak
  • MAIN EVENT: JP Myllyjärvi def. Joseph Ndali © by disqualification after Red Power (all of them) interferes with the matchup. Don George later attacks Joseph Ndali, but that proves to be a critical error in judgement as the arena goes pitch black, and when the lights come back up, the rest of the God Squad is in the ring! Dean hits the Arctic Outflow on Brock Samuel while Joseph uses the distraction to get away from Don and pound on Lorne Christopher, eventually hitting Last Rites on him, and Elijah eventually hits the Eschaton on Don George before Turan Efendiyev locks him in the Bear Trap. The women are no less unprepared for the onslaught from the Squadders as - since they are both opt-ins for cruiserweight competition - they are outnumbered four to two, with Bassam al-Wadud joining the womenfolk (Persephone, Apollyon, and Kristina Efendiyeva) in neutralizing Jane George and Carly Jack. Joseph Ndali grabs the microphone thereafter, saying, "I don't care what you feel entitled to, Don! You don't mess with the God Squad! Because we fight as one! Wait your turn!"
Well isn't this interesting!? It seems that Red Power, upset over ungranted title opportunities, has taken matters into its own hands, but was it really the smartest of moves going after the strongest stable in the game? We'll have to see how this pans out, and even how the Kold Family will respond, in the coming days. Plus, Jere Autissa is set to defend his new gold against Pavol Zeman on Uprising, and Danae Pathakos defends her counterpart title against Rowdy Rebecca, Mattias Vlahos plans to take the day off from defending his Hardcore Title but will still be in action, big Alexi Kousouris will be coming back into a match with Žydrunas Janvāris, and the main event will see Jane George and Carly Jack attempt to win the EWA Women's Tag Team belts from Death And Hades! See you in Portland on Wednesday!

(This post was last modified: 11-02-2023, 06:28 AM by Jarkko.)
RESULTS, EWA UP-AND-COMING, 31 OCTOBER 2023, BARI, ITALY
  • Dom Adami has a conversation with Nassim Toual about joining the newly formed Arab League, and he says he's game.
  • The Beautiful People cut a promo, which is interrupted by five different groups! The women are threatened by The Ice Queens first, then the Arab League, then the Kombat Klub (upset that Sexy Streamer and Saimi Attinen cost Shannon Kim the Women's TV Title), then Persian Princesses, who were upset that Samira didn't win it clean, and finally, the men by the male Kombat Klub members and a newly-formed Ex Machina - all the remaining members of The Machine besides Tungsten! It seems like the EWA has finally had enough of this narcissism-driven stable! But Kris Pathakos Jr. comes out and restores order alongside several security personnel.
  • The Barbary Boyz def. Diesel Montgomery and Big O by pinfall. Dom Adami gets a decent-sized pop.
  • Saimi Attinen discovers a cased DVD with her name on it in her locker. "Mikä helvetti??? This wasn't here earlier!"
  • Kadreddin Nabiyev def. Radko Bekesza by disqualification; Tungsten emerged from the audience, grabbed a steel chair, and began wailing on him. While Bekesza did nothing besides leave the ring, eventually the other members of Ex Machina came to his rescue, and in particular, Fabrice Lacroix (the group's largest member) Speared him then followed with his Geneva Suplex. When he came to, he grabbed a mic and shot on him. "It's always been the same thing, Dredd! Without your men, you're nothing. NOTHING!!" Selmar MacLeod curtly said on commentary, "Oh, so that's why he beat you silly last week!"
  • Backstage, Eva Clark is confronted by Sexy Streamer about what "info" she has. Clark whispers it into her ear, and the Mexican turns bright red, and tries to slap her compatriot only for her to duck it and run away laughing evilly.
  • Constance def. Samira (pc) by pinfall to win the Tier 2 Women's TV Title after another undetected bit of interference by the referee - this time by Irina Valdez. But just as Constance figured out what happened, Valdez is attacked viciously by Samira's tag team partner Raisa Nakisa and thrown off the edge of the entry stage.
  • Robbie Irschick © def. Théo Beaujean by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 TV Title. The after-match period was surprisingly quiet, but when asked about this in a post-match interview, the big Canadian said, "It helps when you're part of such a big stable, eh? My boys were keeping his boys at bay!" Sure enough, a backstage shot shows The Beatiful People's men's locker room being guarded by five members of the Anti-Corruption Army, and Gamboa and Jimmy Mboya are not happy about it, but as Major Mitch says, "better this than having yet another faction wanting to end your existence! You've already got the Kombat Klub and Ex Machina pissed off at you. Don't make the mistake of making more of the locker room mad!"
  • Proverbs 31 def. Saimi Attinen and Sexy Streamer by pinfall, with Irina nowhere to be found to intervene. After the match, Eva Clark comes out to taunt them. "I just met up with Aaliyah, and she's got the same dirt I do on that golfa of a leader of yours! And mark my words, your pathetic little band will crumble when one of us spills the beans! Oh, Saimi, you think you can trust her? The only thing faker than her curves is her personality! But know the woman behind the Sexy Streamer façade."
  • Raisa Nakisa is watching that backstage with Samira, and she wonders if SS would try to put a move on Kadreddin. "Lord Dredd was all 'emotions are for organics,'" Samira responded, "but my actual brother has a type, and she isn't it. Actually, I know a lady who is much closer to his type. Been trying to get him to pursue her more as part of rediscovering his humanity." She then winks at Raisa, which has her puzzled at first, but then a lightbulb goes on and she turns bright red and starts giggling nervously.
  • Big A Wambo is walking through the halls when he bumps into Muhammad Abderamane, who simply says to him, "We aren't finished yet."
  • MAIN EVENT: Captain Redbeard def. Kennan Aroi, Iopa Misa, J-Shred, Aurėlijus Maklėvičius, and Azlan Bakar to become #1 contender for the Tier 2 TV Title at First Blood!
A pretty interesting Blitz is on the horizon tomorrow, from Skopje, North Macedonia! There's still The Beautiful People situation, and what seems to be a Sword of Damocles hanging over Sexy Streamer's head; there's the renewed tension between Muhammad Abderamane and Big A Wambo, and both are set to face Robbie Irschick for the TV Title; Constance has a square-off against Anelís, and the evening's main event has Sookie Sam defending his Tier 2 EWA Championship yet again, this time against Tama Nimo. We'll see you in North Macedonia! Macedonian boy Apostol Jovanovski will be in tag team action with Dario Krznar against the Alpenmänner, Andreas Koellendamm and Viktor von Hesse!

RESULTS, EWA SLOBBERKNOCKER, 31 OCTOBER 2023, PANAMA CITY, PANAMA
  • The episode kicks off with a hearty round of applause and some "E-W-A" chants as Joey Styles is introduced as the guest lead commentator alongside usual lead Eamon Kelly.
  • Springsteen & Maybury def. The Flores Twins by pinfall. Adam Springsteen is a regional favourite in Panama as there are no Panamanians in the EWA but they don't usually root for Colombians! They were happy that he got the pin.
  • Tua def. Ioane Niko by pinfall.
  • Ion Dinu Radulescu def. The Rain Man by submission.
  • Miss Natasha def. Brisa © by pinfall to win the Tier 3 Women's TV Title! (second reign) The Russo-Canadian follows Nikki Kazakis and Linda Friesse as becoming the third multi-time winner of the belt in its 15-month history.
  • Afterwards, the other members of Canadian Girls Kick Ass! come to celebrate her victory as she is doing an interview, but Astra decides to attack faction leader Sonya Craig, which could very easily have led to the Latvian getting her butt whooped! After she is separated from the Spences Bridge native by security, she starts screaming that the "belt should be hers" (referring to the Tier 3 Women's Championship).
  • Oleksander Matviyenko def. Estevão Donato Rocha by submission. After the match, "Stevie" makes official what has long been expected - he plans to stay in Tier 3 another season.
  • Roger Vélez def. Rolando Ferrer by pinfall. This is an important match in the cruiserweight division and gets Vélez (who is Nicaraguan) a sizable pop even though he's technically a heel!
  • Wellington Gounod def. Vadim Covalciuc by pinfall. Another important cruiserweight matchup.
  • Spurgeon MacEachern def. Jonny Armaghanyan by pinfall. Another major win for Big Spurge over a higher-rated opponent, and he knew it. He decided to cut a promo on how he was after "bigger things," but although some pundits had him chasing the Tier 3 EWA Title, he's decided to ease himself slowly into the "big title" scene, calling out Serik Ibrashev and demanding an Americas title match on Tier 3 Thursday! The Kazakh is quick to come out and accept.
  • Sigrid and Talia Lundmark come out and cut a promo on Ágata and Brisa, and Sigrid challenges Ágata to a match; although not in Bari for Up-And-Coming, the Colombian (one of the few that Panamanians actually will cheer for!) accepts the challenge, on the condition that it is on Tier 2 TV! "You come into my ring and get me this time, and come alone. If your little friend there shows up with you, you can expect that my fellow Squadders and their allies will send her back to Latin America covered in cuts and bruises! We know neither of you can win clean against an equal or superior opponent, Little Miss Cheater! But to tide you over, I got ALB to book you a match for tonight!"
  • Kim Jae-Hwa and Sarah Turkington def. Sigrid and Talia Lundmark by pinfall, much to the delight of the Panamanian fandom!
  • MAIN EVENT: Zamir Bokoyev def. Rögnvaldur by submission (non-title match). And Bokoyev did not hold back his contempt for the Icelander after getting the 1-2-3, saying (rightly, according to Eamon Kelly) that he completely falls out of contention for the Tier 3 EWA Championship after this loss, and that his best bet for a pay per view at this point is "getting [his] ass kicked by Terje Grimseth in a hardcore match."
On Thursday we're in Alajuela, Costa Rica, just outside of the capital of San José! Miss Natasha has a bout against Keisha Biggs, Kicham Alami gets Ukrainian-Canadian Oleksander Matviyenko, Astra will have to watch her back after trying to beat up Sonya Craig, a couple of Cruiserweight Division matchups, and Rögnvaldur to face Terje Grimseth in a Hardcore division matchup!

RESULTS, EWA UPRISING, 1 NOVEMBER 2023, PORTLAND, OREGON
  • Red Power comes out to try and smooth things over with the God Squad after Don George attacked Joseph Ndali last week, but to nobody's great surprise, the Kold Family is the one coming out to answer the call rather than the Squad. A very annoyed JP Myllyjärvi has a mic with him and cuts his own promo on Don George in particular and the stable in particular. He goes a little over the top and gets a chorus of boos from the Portland crowd, so Sebastian Brown reminds the people that it was in fact Red Power that decided to interject themselves into JP's match, costing him "even a potential title win." Then Jane George grabs the mic and challenges the whole stable to Gang Warfare. "You're out of your tree, hon," Sebastian replies. "You'd need both of your Tier 2 guys for that to be an even fight." Don George and Brock Samuel look at Jane, concerned. "Both?" Then Tiny E comes out. He asks, "You always forget about me existing, don't you?" Kris Pathakos, Sr., finally breaks the whole thing up.
    • "Don't worry. Gang Warfare will happen. But it won't be tonight. Jane and Carly are already booked in the main event of the evening, and such a large-scale match is too big for Roughhousin' or Maniacal, so next Monday in Los Angeles, it's gonna be Red Power in its entirety against the Kold Family in its entirety, in an oversized cell!"
  • Gekko def. Pietro Salvatore by pinfall.
  • Nina Magnussen def. Maria Maravillosa by pinfall.
  • Danae Pathakos © def. Rowdy Rebecca to retain the EWA Women's TV Title.
  • Backstage, Don George is arguing with his younger sister Jane about her rashness, but was thankful that Kris Senior bought them five days to move. Jane responds be saying, if it weren't for L-Wolf refusing to join RP, they'd be in a better situation to go tonight, but Carly Jack laughs at that, saying that Kris Senior wouldn't let it happen because of their match. As they continue to bicker, they happen across the God Squad and stop dead in their tracks. Joseph Ndali chuckles. "Don't worry, we're not gonna knock your blocks off again even though you deserve it, especially Don. But Kris Senior was telling me that you're out of the division because of your little stunt last night, Don. Let me give you some advice. When the womenfolk are going for their title, if you keep your non-contenders out, we'll keep our out. It's that simple." Dean Chapman steps up to Don George and expresses his disappointment. "I thought you were a better man than that, Donny. Now you've put a black eye on the reputation of our mutual hometown, and that of the Penelakut Band. And all for the lack of a little patience." Mattias Vlahos indicates he has to leave.
  • Mattias Vlahos def. Dragan Kovačević by pinfall.
  • Žydrunas Janvāris def. Alexi Kousouris by pinfall. After the match, an applauding Dean Chapman stands in the entrance gate with a microphone and says to Big Druno that he "is looking forward to when they inevitably clash for the EWA Championship."
  • The Croatian Sisterhood def. Sister Act (Anita and Rhoda Gálavez) by pinfall.
  • Elijah def. Floyd Llanfair-Ross by pinfall (non-title match).
  • Pavol Zeman def. Jere Autissa (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA TV Title! (Fifth reign) While there wasn't any interference by Radek Toth, his presence was a bit too much of a distraction for the Sámi Destroyer to deal with.
  • Blacademix come out and cut a promo on the Lords of Lancashire, but are interrupted by Czechmates and later by The Towers of Ararat.
  • Kevyn Mirković def. Antonio Sabatti by DQ in Toni's first match back after his brutal beating at the hands of Goran Šimeunović; the ref spotted a deliberate low blow while The Croatian Sensation was chirping The Wiseguys, and the situation devolved into a beatdown after the match ended only for Goran Šimeunović and Franjo Antolašić to chase them away.
  • Georgios Pathakos comes out and does a (worked) shoot on his brother. "While I appreciate our father's attempt to get us to reconcile, it's quite obvious that Kika needs to be force-fed a slice of humble pie. And I'm not the only brother that will attest to that." Kaélos comes out to mock his twin brother, but gets a nasty surprise when his other full-time wrestler brothers come up from behind, with Kaélos attempting a Kika Cutter on Andros only to have the eight-foot giant reverse it and ragdoll him into a pile of tables off to the side of the stage. Cue Joey Styles. :P
  • Tanya Kapetanova def. Leila Vaňková by pinfall (non-title match).
  • MAIN EVENT: Death And Hades vs. Strong & Proud ends no contest after interference from Ronnie Brown and Tiina Myllyjärvi. The KoldChix beat a hasty retreat, making the sign of belts around their waist as if to say "we're in this race too!" But the end of the show turns into absolute chaos as The God Squad's male contingent are the ones going toe-to-toe with the Kold Family rather than Red Power! Security has to be called in because of the fight going so long, but in the end, it is again the God Squad prevailing, although Joseph Ndali is (kayfabe) injured in the process.
And the plot thickens! It seems like now we have something of a dislike triangle between the God Squad, Red Power, and the Kold Family! The beef between Cosa Nostra and The Croatian Brotherhood hasn't yet gone away, even with Leoni Lombardi being closer to home for the former! It was suspiciously quiet tonight on the British front, especially after the alliance between The Separatists and Clan McIntyre on Monday. And the hot potato that is the EWA TV Title continues to change hands! Will it do so again when Pavol Zeman takes on Devin Elliss on Roughhousin'? Danae Pathakos faces her sister-in-law Kristi for the Women's TV Title, and we'll see whether or not Joseph Ndali has to relinquish his title due to the injury he suffered tonight. (Most people are saying no.) See you in Medford, Oregon!

RESULTS, EWA BLITZ1 NOVEMBER 2023, SKOPJE, NORTH MACEDONIA
  • The Ice Queens seethe as Sexy Streamer walks by them, and Karla asks Anatolya in Russian, "when can we end her?" Oksana says, "All in good time, ladies."
  • The Barbary Boyz def. Bald Mountain by pinfall. A pretty involved opening match, this!
  • Sigrid from Tier 3 arrives to a chorus of boos.
  • The Troublemakers (r.b. KD Chase and Willie Giove) def. The Umagas by pinfall.
  • Apostol Jovanovski and Dario Krznar def. Alpenmänner by submission, to a huge pop from the Macedonian crowd! Even though he primarily lives in Canada when he's off, to the Macedonians he's still one of their own!
  • Constance © def. Anelís by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 Women's TV Title; she then offers Samira a rematch on Throwdown. While Samira accepts, apparently Irina Valdez doesn't like this and tries to attack the Tajik-Canadian, only for Raisa Nakisa to again come to her rescue alongside Samira's older brother, Kadreddin Nabiyev. The Colombian ends up running away.
  • Ágata def. Sigrid by pinfall; it wasn't even close. For those wonder, yes, Talia Lundmark did show up, and the threat Ágata made concerning her was not idle, as the women of the Anti-Corruption Army, the God Squad, and even the Kombat Klub were there to meet her! She was eventually put through a window (candy glass :P) and into a rolling trash bin by Rasuna.
  • Tama Nimo prepares for his big title shot against Sookie Sam, and Iopa Misa chuckles at how quickly his tag partner's relationship with Harumi Kitagawa has progressed!
  • Muhammad Abderamane def. Robbie Irschick (pc) and Big A Wambo by submission to win the Tier 2 TV Title! (Triple Threat; First reign!) Most people were looking forward to seeing the Comorian go toe-to-toe with the Tanzanian and bring closure to their beef once and for all, but the fact they were doing it for the TV Title added extra depth, and Irschick seemed to not have much of a problem losing the match - it was effectively a handicap match between two ACA members and Wambo was on the short end of the stick. You could even hear him calling out for his former stablemates during the match "KWASI! KWAME!" but it was for naught as Irschick hit the Cash-In, then The Comorian In Exile locked in the Comorian Clutch to make Big A tap. Robbie celebrated with Muhammad, who finally won his first singles title after having been in Tier 2 his entire career (he started in 2013)! Current tag partner Jabrail also came out to celebrate with him!
  • Aaliyah is seen sliding a DVD into Irina Valdez's gear backstage.
  • The MK-Twins def. Latin Lovers (Irina Valdez and Sexy Streamer) by pinfall. On paper, the Beautiful People members should have won, but Sexy Streamer was quite obviously distracted and Irina Valdez was a bit banged up from her encounter with the Persian Princesses and Nabiyev earlier.
  • Warren Thomson def. Riley O'Bannon by pinfall (Standard Hardcore match, narrow-rules FCA, disqualification for interference); the Cape Bretoner really had it in for Big Wozz after the latter turned on him in the Dockers vs. Goons matchup last week but the big Aussie used Riley's anger to his advantage, capitalizing on a few key mistakes until he was able to get him up for a Scrumbreaker. 1-2-3.
  • Gamboa def. Valenciano by pinfall; after the match, though, Toni Alves and Fabrice Lacroix from Ex Machina attack the winner!
  • Jonny Armaghanyan def. Buccaneer Briggs by pinfall. Here's Jonny!
  • Paul Morgenstern def. Sergeant Nduwimana by pinfall (non-title match)
  • Galin Liapchev def. Raimondas Žutautas by pinfall to a decent-sized pop from the Macedonian crowd; afterwards, he demands a title match.
  • MAIN EVENT: Sookie Sam © def. Tama Nimo by pinfall to retain the Tier 2 EWA Championship; it was quite a good match. And the wooden mascot gimmick is still getting a huge pop! He's enjoying his current run, not having to fight against machines and being able to be a bit goofy!
  • Irina gets a bit suspicious when she sees a frantic Sexy Streamer rummaging through other people's gear looking for something, but she spots a DVD in her own things before her Mexican tag team partner does. She starts getting a bit suspicious.
See you on Friday for Throwdown! We're coming from the beautiful Slovenia, where we'll be spending the next few days - on Friday we'll be in Ljubljana and then next Tuesday we're in Maribor, with some house shows in various small cities in between! Don't be surprised if we see people from all three tiers the next couple of events as Jure Žabranič from Tier 1 and Rihard Pretner from Tier 3 are rumoured to be making the flight in! But then, continuing drama from within The Beautiful People and half the locker room wanting to beat the crap out of them, a Hardcore #1 Contender Match between Kadreddin Nabiyev, Ioane Niko, Radko Bekesza, and Ilias Pathakos, Constance grapples with the Dark Lady, Yuriko Motomori, for the Women's TV Title, and on the men's side, new champ Muhammad Abderamane has fellow cruiserweight Han Ming-Sze lined up. Ash Stevenson is finally going to defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Chongrak Mahidol in what should be a very even matchup! And in the main event, a six-way tag team free for all! Supaida and Spider-Mata, Buccaneer Briggs and ibn-Fatih, The Troublemakers, The Barbary Boyz, The Cleanup Guys, and The Samoan Studs all clash to become #1 contender for a crack at the Efendiyev Twins at First Blood in 11 days!

RESULTS, EWA ROUGHHOUSIN', MEDFORD, OREGON, 2 NOVEMBER 2023
  • This episode starts off with good news for Joseph Ndali - he won't have to relinquish his title because of his injury, which he should be recovered from in another week's time. The bad news - the Monday after he returns, he will have to face JP Myllyjärvi and Don George in a Triple Threat match for his title, in a doorless cell match no less! ("It's the only way to keep the rest of the stable members out," said Kris Pathakos, Sr.)
  • Yiannis Andreas Kazakis def. Justinian MacGregor by pinfall.
  • Romulo Imperatorio def. Zinho by pinfall.
  • Devin Elliss def. Pavol Zeman (pc) by pinfall to win the EWA TV Title! (Fifth reign) Devin Elliss' first title reign in six years!
  • Sebastian Brown comes out and cuts a promo to try to explain what happened last night on Uprising, but the fans were not having any of it, and apparently neither was Elijah. Although Dean Chapman (or perhaps even Mattias Vlahos) was expected when the lights went out, it was the Brit that came up instead, and he hit a pop-up Iconoclasm on the big Edmontonian. "I have no use for excuses! Your sister and your wife interfered in our stable mates' match. It's as simple as that."
  • Tris Marks def. Benny Thorvaldssen by pinfall. Although the battle of stables isn't going to be until Monday, Tris let off some steam with an easy win over the Faeroese fisherman.
  • Danae Pathakos © def. Kristi Pathakos by pinfall to retain the EWA Women's TV Title.
  • Nicky & Fran vs. The Wiseguys ends in no contest due to double countout. It was a smart tactic by the much shorter Wiseguys to get the Antolašić brothers out of the ring and into the back, and eventually they were able to get away much to the Croatians' annoyance.
  • Natane Huboka def. Gylych Turesbekov by submission (Standard Hardcore match; narrow-rules FCA); for all the chair shots and kendo-stick whacks in this match, it was the Tongan Death Grip that really sounded the death knell of this match, with the 6'10" Huboka rising in the ranks of the Hardcore division, such that he may even get a PPV match if he keeps up!
  • Tiny E def. Lorne Christopher by pinfall. Fast-talking, fast-flipping
  • Backstage, Mattias Vlahos is watching, and says to Dean Chapman, "Maybe Nate isn't quite the idiot I made him out to be! Doesn't matter. Still not as good as Nik Bogdanovič."
  • MAIN EVENT: Bassam al-Wadud © def. Carly Jack and Janne Myllyjärvi to retain the EWA Cruiserweight Championship. Mercifully, there was no interference, as the God Squad won't instigate and the other two would rather not have to deal with Dean Chapman and Mattias Vlahos on the rampage!
Storywise it was pretty nondescript, aside from a couple of blips, but there were some very good matches! More of the same in San Jose, California on Saturday - The TV Titles are both up for grabs, with Devin Elliss to face Angel Gálavez and Danae Pathakos squaring off against longtime friend Paulina Kobaladze, but for the main event of the evening it'll be A Double Dose Of Death against Vyacheslav Antropov and Tanya Kapetanova, aka From Russia With Love, for the Intergender Tag Team Championships!

RESULTS, EWA TIER 3 THURSDAY, ALAJUELA, COSTA RICA, 2 NOVEMBER 2023
  • A big event happens right off the get-go as 26-year-old EWA NextGen prospect Felipe Goicochea, a Costa Rican, signs a contract to start performing in January! He'll of course start in Tier 3.
  • Christian Eggert def. Delino Mason by pinfall.
  • Dyana Pathakos def. Zviad Kavkasidze by pinfall. Considering these two are both rookies this was actually a relatively tight match.
  • Astra was asked backstage to explain her actions, and she was quite rude to her interviewer as she also ripped Sonya Craig for needing "her three bitches" to back her up, but she wasn't allowed to finish as Sonya Craig Speared her into the backdrop and left her writhing in pain on the ground!
  • Miss Natasha © def. Keisha Biggs by pinfall to retain the Tier 3 Women's TV Title. This was a nice close matchup!
  • Vadim Covalciuc def. Chun Kiman by pinfall. Vad hadn't wrestled a cruiserweight match in some time, so it was kinda nice to see the Moldovan vet back in the fray!
  • Eamon Kelly announces that Tier 3 Thursday is getting a name change at the beginning of 2024 and that there is also a new Tier 3 show being debuted on Fridays at the same time. Tier 3 Thursday will become Conquest, while EWA Brouhaha will have its first episode on 5 January 2024.
  • Tamara Stevens def. Lorette Ghedina by pinfall.
  • Kicham Alami © def. Oleksander Matviyenko by pinfall to retain the Tier 3 TV Title.
  • Rolando Ferrer def. Luke Ng by pinfall. Rolando trying to keep pace in the Cruiserweight division after losing on Tuesday!
  • Terje Grimseth def. Rögnvaldur by knockout (Standard Hardcore match, narrow-FCA rules); this was a brutal display of ultra-violence, and the ref finally called the match because a particularly emphatic shot with a hockey stick (a cross-check, for those of you who know hockey  ) actually knocked the Icelander clean out!
  • MAIN EVENT: Spurgeon MacEachern def. Serik Ibrashev (pc) by pinfall to win the Tier 3 Americas Championship! This is unquestionably a massive turning point in the big young Scot's career! It was an absolute masterclass, and the fans ate it up! Ibrashev was so impressed by the win that he himself put the belt around Big Spurge's waist and raised his hand. In perhaps a sign of things to come, Ibrashev's tag team partner and current Tier 3 EWA champ Zamir Bokoyev was also out applauding with a slight smirk on his face as the God Squad stormed the ring to celebrate with their brother (yes, even including a still-bloodied Grimseth!)
Onward to San Pedro Sula for the next episode of Slobberknocker! Rögnvaldur will miss at least the next two or three Tier 3 events with a concussion but should be back in time for Angel Lorenzo Batista to book him for Mayhem should he so wish. There are three title matches booked: the TV Title matches will see Kicham Alami take on Mr. Wilson, and Miss Natasha size up Jacqueline Sassou, while the Tier 3 Cruiserweight Championship has two important matches booked - Egidijus Stravinskas is giving The Assassin a shot, while Roger Vélez, Vadim Covalciuc, Macie Ndong, Rolando Ferrer, Wellington Gounod, and Xiang Zhi-Han will contest the main event of the evening for the #1 contender's spot at Mayhem! Plus a likely appearance by Valenciano from Tier 2 for the hometown crowd!
