A brand new book vending manchine in Manchester city centre’s Corn Exchange is inviting literature lovers to exchange books for free.

The book vending machine filled with second-hand books in a range of genres.

Corn Exchange, located in the Medieval Quarter of Manchester, is a popular dining location in the city centre.

A new book costs on average £7.48 in the UK leading book lovers to find alternate ways to source their reading material.

All you have to do is bring a pre-loved book to swap with one of the hosts for a token which can be used to receive a book from the machine. And you can swap as many books as you like.

Well, this looks nice, but... swap boxes aren't exactly a new concept  . I guess this is a bit more secure, looks, more inviting, and shows more titles at once - but otherwise, I'm not sure I see the advantage of this over a swap box.

Anyway, I hope it succeeds... have you ever used anything of the sort?
