It reminds me a bit of Ginger's "And She Was Gone" in tone and topic and that can only be a good thing.

When days turn to months

Jule's eyes won't see it the other way
I can't remember the truth
I can only see the lies
I forgot about you
With the things that have been through
And they're ringing in my ears

I wanted to write a song, but it turned out terrible, so I decided to turn it into a poem. Still doesn't make it better though  

This is about my current favorite type of music. 

I'm In Love With These Times

Everyone knows I'd make a terrible punk
All I want to do is daydream all day long
It's not electric, it's not punk
But may as well be the new punk rock

Jangling, bittersweet
I know I'm not alone
I'm in love with these times, it must've been a dream
Flying Nun, Sarah and unsolicited hopes 

And I love all these loser bands, these loser songs
They keep playing in my head, ringing in my ears
Take me away to a better place 
A distant space, forevermore

Lonely Palace
Walk out as I'm all alone
Finding myself has never been easy 
I've got no place to go
Nowhere to run
My eyes they burn so slow
I can't reach the place
I can't stand the pace
How did it feel when you were in the lonely land?
