Favourite Pokemon Graphics

So, Pokemon has existed for ages so there's all sorts of graphics style the games have had. Which is you favourite?

For me, the Hoenn and Sinnoh were the best. I don't care for overly nice graphics. Reminds me of childhood too.

To me the Black/White games are peak Pokémon visuals. Everything after those is a step backwards because I have never liked the 3D Pokémon style; I think they should go for an Octopath Traveler style for a 3D Pokémon game so the sprites can come back because they just look way better than the 3D models.

I am not sure what game I liked the graphics of best, cos they were all good to me As for types of graphics I like in the Pokémon games overall, I always have been very fond of sprites of cuter Pokémon in the games Especially those of Pikachu. Crystal and r/s sprites being some of the most nostalgic Pikachu sprites for me.

Yellow for me.

Not only were they the first I ever laid eyes on, but they were also the first Game Freak seem to have taken seriously, as if finally acknowledging that they had a winning product there. And the fact that the color scheme changed depending on where you stood added so much to the magic that I'm honestly shocked it hasn't been recreated in some capacity later on (especially since you did get the original music as a bonus in some later installment).

Gen 3 to Gen 5 era.

Easy for game development, and they look cute.

I actually quite like the graphics from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The chibi art style of the original games works really well for something like Pokémon, but the 3D graphics in those remakes adds a little extra quality and makes the games feel less dated.
