Has anyone here seen Disenchantment?
For those of you who don't know, it's an animated sitcom created by Matt Groening. And, while the art and humour style is quite similar to what you'll find in his previous work (such as The Simpsons), the setting for this show is quite different. It takes place in the Medieval kingdom of Dreamland, ruled by King Zøg, who is due to marry off his 19-year-old daughter, Princess Bean. But when her wedding night goes all wrong, she befriends a half-elf named Elfo and a demon named Luci - and from there, the series follows the adventures and mishaps of this trio .
So far, there are two 20-episode seasons, each of which is split into two parts of 10 episodes each. And I've watched part 1 of season 1 (on Detective Osprey's recommendation)... and, so far, I've quite enjoyed it . I have to admit, I wasn't expecting to (since I could never get into The Simpsons), but maybe the setting just appealed to me more .
