They’re still wearing at most bark armor unless they can loot for brigandine or plate or something higher quality. Plus, rotten luck of facing anti-cavalry opposition.

Sarkeesian troops
These troops are geared for taking out cavalry; Not surprising considering what kingdom Dr. Sarkeesian chose to attack first. Uniform styles are a medieval Wallachian/Renaissance Western European mix.
Heavy infantry-Equipped in Wallachian style helms with plated chainmail and armed with many different anti-cavalry weaponry such as halberds, pikes, glaives, and partisans.
Bulkans-A very recent project. Big and strong shock troops with light armor designed to inflict chaos on enemy ranks to make things easier for the rest of the army.
Cavalry-More medium general purpose rather than light/heavy divisions. Armored in plated chainmail or buff coats and armed with pistols, carbines, bows, lances, or grenades. Some helmets incorporate a "mengu look" with vampire fangs. Though some may opt not to wear the mask.
Musketeers-Dressed more like stereotypical Musketeers of the Guard. Unarmored and armed in flintlock muskets and bayonets.
Bordonians-Incorporated into the Sarkeesian force as insurrectionists against Comanche rule(making them the Dunlending equivalents.) Appearance is more or less Old West cowboys/outlaws albeit modified to fit a medieval/imperial age setting. Broad brimmed helmets rather than cowboy hats, brigandine rather than leather dusters, lances, swords, and spears added in, and miniature repeating crossbows replacing revolvers. They deploy both cavalry and infantry.

Gondolinium
Pride of Thalassanium and a major source of pain for Lord Sturgeon. They use tactics similar to the Highland charge-with a side of arrow shots too. The musketeers resemble 17th-18th century Scottish Highlanders while the heavy infantry, archers, and heavy cavalry take after Late medieval/Renaissance Anglo-Scottish aesthetics. The light cavalry look more similar to British/Continental dragoons. Gondolinium also deploys a Ranger Corps dedicated to irregular warfare; They wear hoods. Musketeers are armed with muskets and bayonets but may use knives or swords as sidearms. Heavy infantry are all about polearms like billhooks, pikes, halberds, glaives, etc. but they shouldn't forget their swords, battleaxes, maces, and war hammers. The knights/heavy cavalry are lancers and(sometimes) grenade throwers that can use swords, battleaxes, maces, and war hammers. The light cavalry function as pistoliers or mounted archers.

The ever present rivalry between Woodlanders and Gurkhandis, they nonetheless can’t live without each other.
Woodlanders live in forested areas and treehouses and/or huts. Some of their realms include Ruthenia, Lotharia, and the Woodland Kingdom. Gurkhandis live in hollowed out artificial or natural caves. Erketan/The Mighty Mountain is the only Gurkhandi realm; There was Ferronium until it got merged with Erketan. Kanjar-Rog fell to a Fire demon many years earlier.
Gurkhandis and Woodlanders share several weapons in common like polearms, war bows, and muskets out of practicality although they have certain preferences. Gurkhandis prefer shotguns/blunderbusses, long axes, kukris, and hammers. Force is power to them. Woodlanders prefer rifles, glaives, and rapiers. For them, elegance and precision are power. Both have resourcefulness in common and have no problem teaming up with a common enemy like Lord Sturgeon.

So far, I'm keeping Lord Sturgeon hidden to make their evil ambitions more vague and scarier. That way, there'll be about 100 interpretations per reader.

So...is this too big to keep up with or just right?

Finally got in Shelob's equivalent. Obviously, I was never going to have a spider since dinosaurs are scarier than spiders.
