Has anyone here seen it and admired it?

I watched all of the original Vikings except for like half the last season. I own it though, so I can finish it at any time I please. I watched the first two episodes of Vikings: Valhalla on Netflix so far and it seems pretty solid.

I'd quite like to watch one day - although, I'm currently watching The Last Kingdom, which I believe is very similar, so I'll probably wait a little before I watch this.

Glad you're enjoying it so far, though :) !

Indeed, it is. I've seen the first two seasons of it.

As it's been a while since I finished The Last Kingdom, I've decided to make a start on watching this. I had hoped to watch the original Vikings first, but that wasn't on Netflix, so I ended up starting with Vikings: Valhalla.

For anybody who's seen both of them: is it important to have seen the original Vikings before you start Valhalla? I am aware that Valhalla is set over 100 years later - so hopefully, all of the relevant information from Vikings will either be re-established in Valhalla, or treated as historical background. Which was the case in the first episode - but, does it continue to be the case throughout the rest of the series?

I did a Google search and found this: https://www.netflix.com/tudum/articles/v...e%20screen.

Thanks :D ! Pretty much as I hoped :P .

I've seen the first two episodes so far, but I only half-watched them while I did other things... so, instead of moving on to the third episode, I think I'll go back to the beginning, to give this series a proper chance  .

I finished season 2. Pretty good series overall, not sure if the ending left it wide open for a season 3 or not.
