Yes, she survives the zombie apocalypse, but over the course of two days, she loses her father (Nam So-ju); her best friend (Yoon I-sak); and her love interest (Lee Cheong-san). Admittedly, Cheong-san is just "missing and presumed dead" rather than "officially confirmed dead", but she doesn't know that.
Must have been a very difficult life for her, after all that
. If season 2 ever comes around, I hope it'll be kinder to her.

The Shawshank Redemption
Fat Ass.
Not only does he get beaten to death in his first night in prison, but to add insult to injury, we never even get to hear his name: he's literally just credited as "Fat Ass"
!
(And perhaps the fact that I forgot all about him in my previous Shawshank post is evidence that he even deserves better from me )

She gets put into an arranged marriage with Uhtred... who's an excellent warrior, but a useless husband and father. He alienates her by resolving everything with violence; then leaves her to be with some pagan queen; and then that queen performs a spell that (unbeknownst to either of them) kills the child she had with Uhtred.
Then again, she is still alive at the end of the first series, so she does better than quite a lot of characters from that show !
