I was imagining this morning what would happen if a graphic calculator was sent back to Nasa headquarters in the 1960's? Which made me think what other equipment could be sent back into history to troll them or make them generally confused? What would happen? How would they react? So what equipment would you send to a time in a period of history?

I would send an assault rifle to the French Revolution just to make them think that their struggle is in vain and that they should go home XD

a solar powered tablet with all of the Engineering Index Compendex downloaded to it.

and I would send it back to Nikola Tesla.

because it'd be funny to see him basically stomp Thomas Edison with enough modern science, engineering, and technological information and know how to actually make use of what he had to advance things by multiple factors and watch as Edison laments his loss.

not that he'd need it as much... but there's a lot in there that someone in the 1900's could make use of to really leap ahead early, especially someone capable of understanding even part of it.

and trolling edison by giving tesla a big win would be incredibly cathartic.

that or maybe send Leonardo Da Vinci a boston dynamics robot so he can lament how one of his ideas (an automated forge), could go horribly horribly wrong and make machines that while capable are incredibly clumsy and not very useful beyond simple tasks.

I'd send them a proof of the Banach-Tarski paradox, along with all the mathematical theory necessary to understand it.

That still confuses people today, so imagine how the mathematicians of yesteryear would respond to it  !!!!
