but it was a real answer ;P  seriously though im perfectly fine on my own. its bad to say it but a relationship costs money, something i dont have a lot of plus with everything i juggle atm it is unwise to add more on top of that.

Back on topic, I never did actually answer the question in my post. I would honestly prefer to be in a relationship. I've desired companionship for a very lengthy amount of time, and my phase where I tried to force myself into permanent celibacy only made me feel worse.

This is complicated for me. Yes, I'd love to have a boyfriend. But at the same time, it's nice to just do what you want to do. Where you don't have to always work your schedule around someone else's.
But at the same time, I would love to be with someone. My mind wants romance, but myself as a whole, I just want to play video games. It's kind of weird actually. lol

Whatever happens, happens, I figure. I think if I was dating someone, I think I'd get out more, instead of being a hermit. Which is a good thing.

Now, if only I could find a gay/bi guy who I'm actually attracted to, that would be nice for once. I'm so over crushing on guys, and then months later, find out they're straight. It's so annoying.

I'd like to be in a relationship (in fact, the idea of dying alone terrifies me) but this is not the place nor the time to commit myself to another soul. As things are right now, I'd be dooming the poor girl to a life of misery and needs... and I just can't do that, even if the other party would accept all of this.

I didn't seek a relationship until my life was stable because I was just trying to keep my head above water.  No point in dragging someone down with me.  As things have become stable in my life, I've certainly sought companionship, perhaps someone who'd want to live with me, share activities together.  It's not all about sex.  It's about compatibility and that certainly is a challenge.  I believe there are multiple people in this world of 7 billion that are compatible with any one person, and could live a decent relationship with--the trick is figuring out if you're lucky enough to run into one of those people!  I might find one for me if the planets align for me.
