Just had another of these :P .

Last weekend, I posted a topic called "What would it cost to build the Colosseum today?". From this, I learned that the structure was built out of a form of limestone called 'travertine'.

And then, just yesterday, I heard about Pamukkale, a natural site in Turkey which is famous for its travertine terraces  .

Seems these coincidences happen to me quite often!

I don't think I'd ever heard the word 'moreish' until a couple of weeks ago, when one of my friends used it to describe his Chinese takeaway. (Indeed, I initially thought he was saying it was 'Moorish', i.e. it originated from north Africa  )

Since then, I think I've heard it twice more Rofl !

Flip - you've only known that word in recent times? I've used it a lot over the years! Certain foods really are rather moreish...

Just saw an article about a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode that referenced "the Irish Unification of 2024":
