"Great work !" Sean applauded Greg. "Now, what about a 'K'? That glyph consists of three lines with a circle in the middle."
Sean scanned around for the symbol he had just described. Unfortunately, he could only find one - and it was on the opposite side of the grid to where Greg was standing. It was clearly out of jumping range. "Hmm, how are you going to get over there?"
Sean checked the roof for any rope swings, or anything else which Greg could use to traverse the room to the 'K' glyph. Sadly, there was nothing in sight - so, Sean began to think of other possible words.
"Well, it could be Shamara - OH, WAIT !!!"
With a sudden flash of inspiration, Sean realised that, while the 'K' was a long way from Greg, it was very close to him. As a result, he could easily step straight onto it - which, sure enough, caused it to light up like the previous ones. Furthermore, he quickly found another upturned triangle to serve as the next 'A' - and then, right in front of that, he discovered a 'T', which was one of the few Mayardian glyphs that resembled its Latin counterpart.
"Nobody ever said you had to do this alone !!! Now, can anyone see another A? This one should be underlined, to indicate a stress mark."
