Kang Sae-byok, Ji-yeong, and Ali. I mean I knew they were gonna die, but it still hurts to see
Yep, definitely agree with those

.
I've already nominated Ali and Sae-byeok
in another post earlier in the thread, so I'll just link to that instead of repeating what I've already said there - but, Ji-yeong's death was rather sad too. I thought it was very noble of her to give herself up like that -
but, it just made Sae-byeok's death even more tragic, because it meant that Ji-yeong basically sacrificed herself for nothing
...
Makes it even more sadder when you put it like that!!

This one technically isn't a 'character death', but it certainly felt like one:
The DeLorean.
Let's face it: it was as much a part of the movie as Marty and Doc - and we got just as attached to it as we did to them. When it lay in pieces on the railway track, and the time circuits and flux capacitor went out for the last time - it really did feel like we'd lost one of the main characters. But, given that time travel caused as many problems as it solved, that was probably for the best.
(Of course, Doc then went and undid all of that by building his time-travelling train... but, that's another story

)

Hannah. Throughout the show when you watch, you see Hannah not needing to eat or sleep really. The chef and her finally confess their feelings to each other and talk about going to Paris. You don’t read too much into it until the antagonist (forgot his name) who is controlling the child leads her to her dead body at the well. Turns out he murdered her just before Dani entered the grounds. It was heartbreaking because she was a pure soul and was finally going to start a life with the guy she loved.
Dani’s death was also sad as she saved everyone.

The entire main cast, as they 'went over the top' of the trenches at the end of the series.
Such a poignant way to finish the show off. My mum tells me she cried when she saw it for the first time

Seriously cannot believe this one hasn't been mentioned yet:
Dobby.
Very sad... gets me every time

I remembered a few more that I want to add.
Alias(Jennifer Garner series)
Jack Bristow: I felt considering he was one of the leads this wasn't necessary, but at least they gave him a hero's death.
Nadia Santos: This was sickening considering she was Sydney's Maternal Half-sister and one of the sweetest characters despite her father being Satan(type) on the show.
Scream(Movies)
Tatum Riley: I didn't feel her death was really necessary, but I guess Billy did since he was the one who killed her. She was one of three people who protected Sydney.
Cotton Weary: I felt after his redemption in Scream 2, that his death was no longer needed. He did die protecting Sydney though.
Dewey Riley: This one stung the most IMHO. He was surrogate big brother to Sydney through all five movies leading up to his death in 5. He was a sweetheart.

Another one I can't believe I forgot:
Bob.
He
almost got out of the lab, only to then be killed in front of his girlfriend Joyce, right after helping her escape

.
Him and Billy are easily the saddest deaths in this series so far - although, with the end of season 4 coming next week, I don't know if this will remain true for very long...

YES. Superhero Bob. He was such a sweet man and we all thought he'd be trouble at first.

Both Midnight and Majestic's deaths seemed to come out of left field and it is honestly more surprising than shocking that they chose to kill off both a well-established character and one that was beginning to be really important in one fell swoop.
