Ali Abdul (Player #199). He was such a nice guy, and he established a lovely friendship with Cho Sang-Woo (Player #218), only to be betrayed by him in the end . I guess I can understand why Sang-Woo did it (because it was the only way to save his own life) - but, even so, it was still very sad.

Kang Sae-Byeok (Player #067). After she got over the glass bridge to complete the fifth game, it was horrible that she was mortally wounded when the bridge exploded - and then killed by Sang-Woo later that evening . Of course, even if he hadn't done that, she would probably have bled out anyway (because the pink suits certainly weren't going to help her) - but, I was really rooting for her to get out alive, so that she could reunite with her brother, and then help her mum to get out of North Korea...

I've seen theories of these ones somehow surviving. The second one I doubt she has. However, I feel like the first one they could find a way of making live if there is a season 2. Fan favourites... it would be a shame to say goodbye for good. Or at least have some flashbacks.

He was fighting with Wrath alongside Greed-Ling when he was mortally injured. He then decided to kamikazee Wrath, but even that didn't work. He died, but buccaneer stabed through his body and into Wrath so that Fu's death was not in vain.

My favourite anime! This was a nice surprise.

I agree with both. I first watched the original anime when I was like 6 years old. There used to be this channel called Anime Central. Anyways, the first one really did get to me, especially at the funeral with the daughter and his best friend. The second one I wasn’t as attached to the character but it was honourable.

The reason I didn't mention that one was because I blocked that from my memory so I could watch the rest of the series without being terrified for Black Hayate.
