16 - goddarnit! I did use good logic with this one, knowing something of those times!
Seeing the ones I didn't get, though, makes me feel better because some are a little more obscure...
I mean, where the heck is Beverley?

Yorkshire, I think. That’s a guess though.
I got 14. I’d have expected to have done better, considering I found some of the more obscure ones.

Yes, Beverley is in Yorkshire (specifically, in the East Riding).
I knew it existed (because I had a friend from there several years ago); however, I had
no idea it was once among the largest settlements in England
!
