Build-A-Coffee-House Minecraft Contest - Kyng - 06-24-2019


It's been a while since we've done a Minecraft building contest. So, for the 1-year anniversary of switching to our new board, I decided to bring them back!

This time, your goal is simply to build your very own coffee house. You can design it to look something like the board, or you can take it in a completely different direction if you wish . There are a few rules, though, as follows:

• You can enter at least three entries, but only your best-performing one will count towards the poll;
  
  
• All entries must be your own work. You can take inspiration from other people's work, but you can't outright post something that someone else made;
  
  
• All entries must fit within a 20 x 20 x 10 box, or a 40 x 10 x 10 box (Link);
  
  
• This contest closes on Sunday, 14th July 2019 at 11:59pm GMT. After this, a poll will be held to decide the winner, and the prizes will be:
  
  
  • 1st place: 1500 Coffee Credits (+ a Pink Ribbon, if at least 3 people enter, and the poll isn't tied);
    
  • 2nd place: 1000 Coffee Credits
    
  • 3rd place: 500 Coffee Credits

If we add extra stuff surrounding the build limit does it get counted or not?
 For example if I were to create a 10x20 building and then add a 10x15 courtyard outside of it would the building itself only be counted?

Yep - if it's part of your architecture, then it counts towards the limit.

The only thing that doesn't count is any naturally-generated background scenery, like trees.

Since it isn't mentioned, are we restricted to the default resource pack or are we allowed to use a resource pack for our entries?
