Unfortunately for Albany, Sean already had clipped it onto his belt. He was busy admiring the jet-black silk suit that had replaced his scruffy, torn archaeologist's overalls. In particular, he was mesmerised by the shiny silver buttons and golden trim on the ends of his sleeve cuffs.
When he heard a voice, he held his head up and stared blankly in Albany's general direction.
"Uhhh... what a chamber
?"

Greg burst out laughing st this. “Haha, that’s hilarious! Finally he’s as dumb as he looks!”

"Ugh..." Albany dropped her cheery disposition for a moment, rather bemused by her companions. But then, she had an idea.
"Wait a minute. If everything Sean owns just became super expensive, then what happened to his stuff? His pick axe might be super useful now!"
She was about to start rummaging in Sean's new vintage leather backpack, but then she thought better of herself.
"Greg. You do it."

Sean simply stood there, blankly staring into space. He didn't know what his leather bag was - nor was he even aware that it belonged to him.
"Who Gweg
?", he asked, sounding rather puzzled. "And who you?"

Greg frowned. “Why me? Fine whatever...” he grumbled. He went to Sean yanking his backpack off before tossing it over to Albany.

Albany abruptly upturned the bag, emptying its contents onto the ground. The pick axe gleamed - in fact all of Sean's belongings looked good as new.
"Ooh shiny" Albany thought, recollecting all the other items and placing them back in the bag. She then turned to Greg.
"We should go check out the next room."

“Um what about the idiot?” Greg asked pointing at Sean.

Sean was mesmerised by his glimmering pickaxe. The handle was no longer worn from excess use, and the head was no longer blunted: instead, it was cut with diamonds to break through even the most hardened rock face.
Unfortunately, Sean didn't know what it was or how to use it - so, that task would have to be left to Greg or Albany.

Albany went over to Sean and yanked his pickaxe away from him. She gave him the backpack, full of its shiny expensive new things, and told him to enjoy himself.
"I think he'll be okay for now", she mused to Greg, before heading on to the next room.

Greg rolled his eyes and smirked. "I think we should leave him that way." he said before following after Albany. "I think I prefer him that way!"
