Finally on another book, and happily it won't take too long to get through so I can get back to my book pile: Heidi by Johanna Spyri (sp). One of the 'children's classics' range I thought I'd give a read before we charity it.

Uncanny magazine (Issue 40)

For some fantasy/scifi short stories.

"How to Reassess your Chess" by Jeremy Silman.

I started reading this in the late 2000s, but I lost interest in chess before I had a chance to finish it. Now that I'm getting back into chess (and finding that there's a lot that I either forgot over the years, or simply never learned in the first place), I think it'd be a good idea to read it right the way through :) .

I recently finished N or M? by Agatha Christie. It's the third Tommy and Tuppence book - I'm making my way through the whole series right now. :)

^ You just reminded me that Tommy and Tuppence existed. I saw a TV series some time back for one of their mysteries.

I'm reading the final 'Last Kingdom' novel: War Lord. I've liked the series, but it was becoming too many books in the series for my bookcase to cope with, and it's best it has stopped now for that reason! :P

"I Wish I Hadn't Said That..." (a book of dumb quotations, which was a birthday/Christmas present once :P )
