"Taking him home," Aliana answered, as Kyle squirmed and cried. "To Lennart Castle. There's no point in us keeping him here, while he's just content to live the rest of his life lying in bed with somebody babysitting him. He can do better than that, but he's not willing to put the effort in. I'm happy to help him, but he's not willing to
be helped."

Meriandra frowned deeply. “Aren’t you being a bit harsh? It’s not like he hasn’t tried at all...besides who knows how he’ll be treated there...”

"I know, but it's clear to me that he's
stopped trying," Aliana argued. "Last night, he was complaining that he was unable to write properly. So, I generously offered to pay for a magic quill, that would write his words down for him. But, he just began pouting about how that's not the same thing as
actual writing. I'm not willing to buy an expensive quill for someone who responds like that, showing no appreciation for such a costly gift. He then went on to complain that I was pushing him to do things that he can't do... he's rejected all of my ideas, so I asked him to come up with something. He refused to suggest anything - which tells me he's perfectly happy to be babysat all day, without trying to make his situation better for himself. So... I give up."
Aliana then unwrapped her tail from Kyle's leg, and gently nudged him over to Meriandra. "If you'd like to try babysitting him yourself - then, be my guest. But, I'm telling you... this horrible state he's in: he really does bring it upon himself. If he's not willing to change his attitude towards life and towards himself, then I'm done with him."

Poor Kyle was crying at this point. “I have been trying! But no matter what I don’t get better...if you were me you’d be the same...No matter what I do I never improve...”
Meriandra sighed. “I think your being too harsh...your the one that wanted him here, Aliana.”

Kyng - 07-26-2020
"Yeah, well I no longer do," Aliana retorted. "And I'm sorry if I'm coming across as harsh... I've tried being nice with him, but he never reciprocates... he just pouts
. Like I said, if you'd like to babysit a cry baby who never appreciates your attempts to make him feel better - then, be my guest. But he's too exhausting for me now
."

"Good! I wanted you to dump me!" Kyle yelled though he was crying, so obviously he didn't totally want that. "You saw what happened...I made a fool of you..."
"You know I wish mum were here. I think you both need to see how the other feels. Mum could make that happen..." Meriandra grumbled.
RE: Reconciliation -
Kyng - 07-28-2020
"Yeah, well it never lasted for long," Aliana complained. "Even if she got him to see my point of view for a bit, it never truly sunk in... and, within a day, he was back to his old pouty self."
She then turned away from Kyle, and began staring out of the window. "Don't get me wrong... I know he's had a tough life, and I do feel bad for him. It's just... he's too high-maintenance for me. It's exhausting to deal with him, and I can't do it any more..."

"I'm getting granny. I think you BOTH need to talk to her." Meriandra said before scurrying off to fetch their granny.

Unfortunately, one of the guards had got sick of Kyle's crying... and so, while Meriandra was away, he rushed forwards and pulled Kyle's hair. "SHUT UP, TODDLER
!" he snarled.
"STOP IT
!" Aliana growled, as she pushed the guard away, and shrunk him to the size of a pea. "He's been through enough as it is... you do NOT have the right to abuse him further!"

"Its fine..." Kyle said sniffling. "I probably deserve it anyway..."
