Conor immediately buried his head in his hands. "We'll need to do something about this... I can take it, but we can't have him sucking Chris's thumb... perhaps we should take him to the hospital tomorrow?"
Meanwhile, one of the sailors on deck could tell that Tom was troubled by something. "Your Majesty... what's the matter
?"

Tom shook his head. “Nothing...I just...want to get Kyle back...”
Cheryl sighed. “You think something’s wrong with Craig?”

Kyng - 06-04-2020
Conor shrugged his shoulders. "Well, kind of... this isn't normal baby behaviour. Especially since we've had such a hard time feeding him... I'd rather not stick my thumb in a glass of milk forever, because it's a very slow and messy way to do it
..."
"That's understandable
," the sailor agreed. "But, I think we can do it... I'm sure Nestor will understand, as long as you're fair and reasonable with him... and you don't approach him the way you did last time..."
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 06-04-2020
Tom frowned at this. “He had no right to take Kyle!“ he snapped.
Cheryl sighed but nodded. “I suppose...”

Kyng - 06-04-2020
"I know, but the forceful approach
didn't work," the sailor argued. "And the more you try it, the less willing he's going to become to part with Kyle. So, it's probably time you tried something else... maybe go there and calmly explain that your dark magic has gone, and you won't abuse him any more?"
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 06-04-2020
Tom shook his head violently. “I didn’t abuse him...he brought it on himself!”
RE: Reconciliation -
Kyng - 06-04-2020
The sailor tilted his head, looking a little bit uncertain.
"Are you
sure you don't have any dark magic left in you
?" he asked. "I mean, I know he was very annoying at times, and he broke many of your rules... but, you're not even
acknowledging that the dark magic caused you to overreact at times, and do things you probably shouldn't have done?"
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 06-04-2020
“Of course I don’t!” Tom snapped. “And I didn’t overreact! Kyle should of just listened...that’s why he had to stay inside!”
RE: Reconciliation -
Kyng - 06-04-2020
"I agree that he should have listened," the sailor argued back, "but, don't you think it was your job as a parent to
make him listen? If your methods weren't working, then why were you persisting with them for so long? And why are you still persisting with strategies that you
know to have failed - and why aren't you even
listening to people who suggest alternatives? I'm sorry, but until you stop being so stubborn, you're never going to convince Nestor to give him back."
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 06-04-2020
“I’ll just take him back.” Tom said turning away. “He’s no right to keep him.”
