"That's amazing
!" Aliana squealed happily. "Now... do you want me to take my hand away, so you can try walking
without support
?"
"Okay, I understand," Meriandra replied, nodding her head. "I suppose I'll just let you get on with it..."

The wizard silently nodded as he and the other wizard got straight to work on Tom.
Kyle slowly nodded. “I...okay....”

Aliana slowly pulled her hand away from Kyle, but remained close by his side in order to catch him should he fall over.
Kyle hesitated to take a step - and, before he did, he found himself joined by Nestor, Lydia and Meriandra, who had decided to take a walk while Tom was unconscious and the other wizards were busy operating on him.
"Kyle
!" Meriandra gasped. "What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be getting your magic back
?"
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 11-23-2019
"Um..." Kyle hesitated glancing at Aliana. "T...they already tried. It didn't work..." he said softly.
RE: Reconciliation -
Kyng - 11-23-2019
"Oh, I'm sorry
..." Lydia apologised. "It's my fault, isn't it... I should've taken you here sooner... perhaps they could've saved your magic had I done so right away..."
"Never mind, it's too late now," Aliana argued. "What matters now is, we need to help Kyle to manage the best he can. Good news is, he's already taken a few steps with assistance from me - and now, we're trying to see whether he can walk unaided. Want to give it a try, sweetie
?"
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 11-23-2019
Kyle bit his lip. "I...I guess..." he had been more willing before, but now there was a crowd. Nestor being present made me more reluctant, as likely if he messed up he'd make fun of him...
He sighed, deciding to do it anyway...but just for Aliana. He hesitated a moment more before stepping forward one step. Amazingly he didn't fall...

"That's
amazing !" Aliana squealed, as she clapped her hands together in delight. "Keep going... you can do this!!!"
Meriandra, on the other hand, seemed a bit mystified. "Are you
sure his magic didn't take
?" she asked suspiciously. "He does seem much better than before... you don't think he's got a
bit of his magic back, at least?"
RE: Reconciliation -
Megan - 11-23-2019
Kyle shook his head. “The wizard said I didn’t have any...” Kyle said. To do his point he tried the easiest spell he knew. He tried to make a pebble form in his hand, but as the last time when he tried this nothing happened. “See? Nothing...”
RE: Reconciliation -
Kyng - 11-24-2019
"Yeah, but what I meant was, they might have restored some
latent magic," Meriandra clarified. "That's the lowest level of magic, which binds a wizard's body together. Without any latent magic, a wizard will become very weak - and, if they're not careful, they might even die... but, if you've got a little bit back, then that might have returned you to something closer to your normal strength."
"Not everyone has latent magic... only wizards do, and certain magical species like elves and merfolk," Aliana added. "Just having latent magic doesn't allow you to use spells... but it
does allow you to use and consume potions. So, maybe that's the next thing we should try?"

Megan - 11-24-2019
Kyle shook his head. “But they didn’t say anything about that...and I feel the same...” Kyle said with a frown.
