Has anyone heard of this website/app? I am trying the 30-day free trial to see if I go through and use it/like it and if I do, I'll probably end up paying the $9.99 a month to subscribe to it. That seems like a fair price to me to read/listen to thousands of titles. You could pay $9.99+ for one book, or you could subscribe to their service and read the book plus more. That's the way I see it and it seems like a fair price to me because of that. It's like an ultimate digital library in your pocket. I'll be honest that I've never been much of a reader, but I'm a technology nerd at heart where I could probably get more into something done digitally. I personally have been thinking of books a lot lately and want to read more often, and this service seems like a great way to get into reading for me personally.

It's fine as far as e-books go; I like the Internet Archive more.

The Internet Archive seems less user-friendly to me than Scribd, but I haven't actively used it before.

I have heard of it, but I've never used it.
I probably don't read enough for this service to be worthwhile - but, it sounds like it does its job well, and I'm glad you like it

I feel the same way where I wouldn't use it enough to make it worthwhile, but I'm really trying to change my habits and read more often and I think this app may help me do just that! I'd like to focus on reading one chapter a day at least, but somedays I'm too busy or tired to commit.
