Typical 21st century people, oversensitive to everything, paranoid of being cancelled, and making broad strokes to avoid having to face the truth. See now I'm going to have to hunt those down before their value spikes... Because preservation of history is more important than hurting someone's feelings, and they were written in an entirely different era when social culture was radically different. I don't know if it will ever be possible to have absolute acceptance while accepting the past and not trying to make the present/future make up for it. Personally, I like the idea of a disclaimer since that actually informs people while preserving the past so nobody is surprised when they encounter something potentially offensive.
