The Coffee House

"How about I type it on my laptop and then print it out before I let you read it? I can have it ready for you to read tomorrow," Megan suggested.

"Ermm, okay..." Jessica answered, sounding uncertain. "Assuming we survive the night, that is..."

She looked across the hallway, to Alyssa's door. "You know, it's been a while since she left us... perhaps it's time we checked on her?"

Megan nodded and walked out of the room. She headed over to where Alyssa was and asked, "How are you holding up?"

Alyssa shrugged sadly and said, "I really have no idea. Angry. Sad. Pissed."

Jessica nodded her head sadly: she understood completely, but it still saddened her to see her friend in this state.

"I'm so sorry, Alyssa... please, let us know if there's anything that we can do to help ."

Alyssa looked at her friend sadly and said, "Thanks, Jess."  She sniffled and then added, "They need to catch him before this gets any worse."

"Yes, they do..." Jessica agreed, gulping. "But, we're safe here, at least... is there anyone else we should invite?"

"How about Samara? She is one of our closest friends." Megan asked Jessica.

"Yes, I agree ," Jessica answered, nodding her head. "I just hope she hasn't got into any trouble..."

Jessica immediately whipped out her phone, navigated to Samara in her contacts, and called her. "Hi!"

Samara answered her phone and said, "Hey, Jess. What's up?"

Megan grinned when she heard that Samara answered her phone.

"We're having a very rough night," she explained. "I'm sure you know why... we're safe at Josh Nichols' house, but we can't go out . How are you holding up?"
