The girls left the car and headed inside the store with Jessica's dad.  Jessica grabbed a cart and the girls began going through from aisle to aisle picking out things Megan could eat with no problem. They chose fresh apples, pears, oranges, and grapes. They placed each in their cart and then headed for the fresh vegetables to do the same.

Megan grabbed two bottles of fruit juice as well as a eight pack of diet soda.

Jessica noticed out of the corner of her eye that Josh had chosen a package of turkey burgers and then headed for hamburger buns and then cheese. He also grabbed milk and a few other things.
"How about veggie burgers?" Jessica suggested. "I'll happily have the turkey, but... some of the people we'll want to invite are vegetarian. So... do they sell any of those here?"

"Yes, they do :) !" Megan responded, as she dutifully picked up a pack of veggie burgers, and placed it in her cart.
They continued going from aisle to aisle picking foods they both liked while Josh did his own shopping as well. He chose a variety of vegetables for hiw own veggie tray. He then went and ordered two different fruit trays and waited for them to be prepared along with three different dips. One was yogurt. Another was caramel. The third was dark chocolate. Being that his father was also Diabetic, he knew that Megan would be allowed the dark chocolate and the yogurt. He was pushing a cart of his own from aisle to aisle.

Afterwards, he picked up diet soda and also some Pepsi for Jessica, Marissa, Brian, and himself. Both were cans in a cube. He then went to meet back up with the girls.
By now, Megan was getting a little bored of shopping - although, she was very pleased to see the vast range of food. "Great... is that everything?"

"Well..." Jessica responded. "I was thinking... maybe we could get some new outfits for the party?"
"As long as its comfortable, okay." Megan said in agreement. "I'm not one of those really girly types myself."
Jessica hesitated for a second. "I dunno... they do sell clothes here, but only cheap ones. It's probably not what you're looking for, to be honest... we'll probably have to go to a clothing store to get that. Or we could just go home if you don't care too much :) ."
"It doesn't matter to me." Megan said. "I never caught onto the girly type of stuff. It's why I prefer being comfortable." She sighed and added, "My mom left right before my 12th birthday so I never got to do that sort of stuff."
"Well then, we shan't look for girly clothes," Jessica re-affirmed. "Only comfortable clothes. But I'm sure we can find plenty of those at the nearest clothing store... there are a couple a little further down the road, if you want to look :) ."
Megan nodded in agreement and said, "That sounds like a really good idea.  Let's go." She then followed Jessica to the clothing store.
Jessica led the way down the aisles. Since the school term had only recently started, there were still quite a lot of school uniforms on sale, for the various local schools. However, it wasn't long before they reached more casual clothes... including an absurdly thick woolly jumpsuit, that looked as though it was designed for Arctic exploration.

"That comfy enough for you  ?" Jessica snorted.
