Well, apparently, the collapse was caught on film by the USA's National Science Foundation:

It has to be said, the footage of the collapse is sad, but spectacular.

Arecibo lost its title as the world's largest single-dish radio telescope some years ago - and that title is now held by the RATAN-600 in Russia. Maybe try to beat that :P ?
