Now, here's a
Robot Wars one. This features a robot called "Pièce de Résistance", which has to be one of the most inept robots to ever participate in the programme. In the first round, it had to complete an assault course, which began with the normally-easy task of knocking down a few bricks:

Amazingly, being dropped over the wall was enough to put Pièce de Résistance through to the second round

My dad obviously misheard the question, because he immediately answered "Margaret Thatcher".

I felt bad for the first player... I think nerves just got the better of him
. As for the second player, he just got unlucky IMO: those answers weren't great, but I didn't think they were
that bad (I thought '28' was the only terrible one TBH).
