You watch those clips online, but the best one I've seen is the episode where Steve Harvey on Family Feud works with the family who has to fill in the phrase "Pork _____". That clip is just too funny. The first woman said "pork loin" and spelled it "lion" because Steve though she said "pork lawn" because of how she pronounced things. Her brother answered "cupine".

Their mother said "pork t's".
This is me messing up a question again.
I can't remember exactly what the question was, but it was about a kind of "IPA beer". As I waited for the possible answers to come up, I was expecting the correct answer to be either "/bɪə/" or "/bɪɹ/".
Forget blaming Eric: I blame
for this one

!
I can't remember whether or not I posted this on the old forum... but, this is a legendary moment of sheer dumb luck

Just goes to show, even the guesses count

Another question from
The Chase:
"The surname of which Oscar-winning actress sounds like the correct way to eat soup?"
The answer, which the contestant didn't get, was... Reese Witherspoon.
, have you got a job writing quiz show questions, by any chance

?

Oh no, you found out my secret finally!
Another question from
The Chase: "Donald Watson left the Vegetarian Society in order to co-found which other diet-based society?"
I knew the answer to that question (and
would kill me if I didn't). However, the contestant didn't, and she guessed... the Sausage Society.
I mean, vegan sausages do exist, but I'm not sure if they have their own society

!
This one from
Countdown isn't 'funny' in the conventional sense, but it is pretty unbelievable.
How somebody figured this out mentally, in the space of 30 seconds, I do not know

:
A bit further up in the thread, I posted a video of Josh from
Deal or No Deal, who was surely the most absurdly unlucky quiz show contestant in Australian history.
If you want to know where all his luck went... it seems that this other Australian guy stole all of it

This one is pretty innocuous, unless you're up on your TCH in-jokes

Quote:What is the most populous European island outside of the British Isles?
A) Sicily
B) Cyprus
C) Majorca
The correct answer was Sicily; however, I'd like to think that somebody from JetPunk (which insists that Cyprus is Asian) was watching that and having an aneurysm

.
[insert for-once-unnecessary Cyprus rant here]
