But, just to make sure this doesn't get out of hand, and people are posting actual milestones (rather than random numbers), please adhere to the following: 
 

• Only post one milestone per month. This is more a general guideline than a hard and fast rule: if somebody occasionally slips up and posts two milestones three weeks apart, then we won't throw the book at them. However, if they're consistently making posts in here a week or two apart, then this suggests that the numbers they're hitting aren't very important, and hence don't merit the title 'milestone'.
  
  
• If the significance isn't obvious, explain it. If it's one of the usual 'round' numbers (e.g. '4000') or has all digits the same (e.g. '5555'), then it's obvious what the significance is, so there's no need for an explanation. However, if the number '2679' is of some personal significance to you, and you want to post '2679' as a milestone, then you should explain what the significance is.
