"Yes, that's what I'm fearing..." Nestor agreed. "But if it is genuine, I can definitely understand why they'd want him around. At the very least, I think we ought to send someone else there first, to confirm that it's okay... what do you think?"
Cassandra sighed and nodded. “Okay. But I don’t think we should tell Kyle till we know anything.”
"Indeed: he has enough on his plate already, without having to worry about this as well," Nestor agreed. "For now, we should focus on getting his legs fixed. Have you had any more ideas regarding that?"
Cassandra shook her head. “I haven’t found anything helpful. And it does seem to be slowly spreading…”
"Okay..." Nestor sighed. "Well... perhaps it'd be worth you going to the Academia Magesteria? If anybody will have any ideas, it's them. But I don't suggest we take Kyle there... I don't want to bother him any further. It'd probably be better to bring one of them over here, if we can?"
Cassandra sighed and nodded “Yes…it’s easier and safer for him to stay here. It’s too hard on him anyway to walk as it is. I’ll leave right away.”
"Okay
," Nestor agreed, as Cassandra started getting ready to go. "I'll make sure the kids BEHAVE!"
About an hour later, Lydia came to Kyle's room to update him on the situation. "Cassandra's gone to the Academia Magesteria", she explained. "She's seeing if she can find a cure for your legs..."
Kyle frowned. He knew that meant it would be Nestor in charge, and he was still leery of him. “They probably won’t have anything anyway. She should just stay here.”
"Yeah, well she might as well try..." Lydia responded. "If they do, then great, if not... then nothings been lost, has it?"
Kyle sighed. “I guess…but rather it was uncle Nestor going…”
