"I didn't mean it that way..." Jocelyn clarified. "I mean, he dresses and conducts himself in a manner that makes him look ugly, if that makes sense..."

Pretty soon, the two of them had finished dressing Jake in Kyle's clothes. "Your wardrobe suits him much better, don't you agree :hehe: ?"
Kyle shrugged. “I guess. But how do we get the guards to let us out. They didn’t seem to want to before…”
"Just pretend to be Jake," Jocelyn suggested. "Or if you'd prefer, I can do all the speaking for you... might want to cover Jake's ears, though, so that our shouting doesn't wake him up :-/ ..."
Kyle nodded. “You do it.” Kyle said going and covering Jake’s ears.
Jocelyn nodded, and turned up towards the light at the top of the cell.

"Guards!" she shouted, taking care not to be too loud. "We're stuck down here... the King teleported himself in, and now he can't get out, because he forgot that magic doesn't work down here!"

(OOC: I forgot to mention: when Jocelyn swapped the clothes over, she also took Kyle's collar off and gave it to Jake :hehe: ...)
One of the guards laughed. "Of course he did. See, told you, he's dumb."

"Fine, we'll send a ladder down." the other said tossing down a rope ladder.
Jocelyn made space for Kyle to climb above her, and prepared to assist him up the rope.

"Would you like to go first?" she whispered. "Don't worry, I'll take your legs..."
Kyle looked a little worried. "O...okay, I guess..." he said not really expecting this to go well. He carefully climbed above her pretty much expecting to hit the ground again anyway.
Fortunately, Kyle didn't hit the ground again. There were a couple of occasions when he almost fell - but fortunately, Jocelyn was able to catch him just in time.

After a couple of minutes, the pair of them were out - and Kyle's disguise clearly worked, as the first guard didn't suspect a thing.

"Thanks..." Jocelyn smiled. "You can close it now!"
The second guard was eyeing Kyle who was seated on the floor tired out from the climb. "Why are you just sitting? Something wrong?" he questioned.

Kyle gulped not really sure what to say. "Um..."
