"NO! You can't do it AT ALL!" Annika cried.



Lily smiled as she happily took Kyle, still letting him suck on his bottle.

Pretty soon, Kyle had drunk the whole lot, so Laura took the bottle away from him, to allow Lily to continue cradling him.

"Well then, I don't want a baby any more ," Aliana whined. "Nobody ever told me I was supposed to just sit there and listen to it crying all day...."

“It won’t cry all the time, and besides it’s a bit late for that!”


Kyle shut his eyes starting to doze.

"Can't the fairies have it ?" Aliana whined. "They could probably take better care of it than me anyway..."

Lily stroked Kyle for a little while longer - and then, she tucked him into her own bed in the barracks. It wasn't the most comfortable bed in the world; however, it was extremely spacious for him, and it truly made him look like a king.

"Don't you care about your child at all?!" Anika cried finally losing her patience with Aliana.


Little Kyle rolled on his side snuggling into the blankets more as he kept sleeping.

"Of course!" Aliana yelled. "That's why I suggested giving him to the fairies!"

Sadly, Aliana and Annika didn't get anywhere: they simply argued until Aliana stormed out angrily. She then spent the rest of the day locked in her room, refusing to speak to anybody - even Rommel.

Fortunately, Kyle was doing far better. The fairies were doing a very good job of taking care of him - and keeping him well-fed and entertained. However, the week ended as quickly as it started - and now, it was time for Kyle to go to the hospital, and be restored to his normal age.

"Well, here he is..." Laura announced, as she placed Kyle down softly in one of the beds, taking care not to disturb him from his sleep. "It'll be sad to say goodbye to him - he's been a lovely little baby - but it has to be done..."

The fairy doctor there nodded. “Thank you for taking such good care of him.” They moved over to Kyle gently touching him, causing Kyle to glow. Slowly his body grew, till he was once again a teenager, and back to his normal age.

Of course, the growth only changed the age and size of Kyle's body: it did not change the position in which he was lying. This was something that greatly amused Aliana, when she came down to see how he was doing.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!!!" she cackled thunderously. "He's sucking his thumb - just like a baby!!!!!!!!!!"

The fairy doctor frowned at Aliana. “Don’t be so rude!”

Not long after Kyle woke up. He blinked looking rather confused, then a look of fear came, as he saw others around him.

"But he was funny like that!" Aliana pouted. "And now he's not funny any more !"

By now, the fairy doctor was becoming frustrated. "Look, if you're going to behave like this, then I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

"Ugh, fine ," Aliana grunted, as she stomped out of the hospital - but not before slapping Kyle with her tail.
