"Okay... maybe we move Andy into the lower part of the castle?" Nestor suggested. "That frees up his temple so Kyle can go there... we'd need to put up notices to say that temple is cancelled, but nobody ever goes there anyway
."
His cheeky grin then grew even broader. "As for Kyle's room, that would be empty. But, we could get our mages to set some kind of trap in there
..."
Cassandra rolled her eyes. "Just move him near the royal chambers. Maybe near to us. That way if anything happens one of us can be there."
"Well... that's almost too obvious," Nestor argued. "When they see he's not in his room, they'll do a full search of the castle - and the royal chambers will be the first place they ask to see..."
Nestor then pondered a little more. "Well... there's also the Infinity Chamber..." he suggested, recalling the place where all the royal births, marriages and deaths took place. "Of course, I'd really hate to reveal its existence to any non-royal... but, if Kyle's to marry Aliana, then he'll find out about that place soon enough anyway
..."
"That's not definite at this point though...though he IS still royalty technically...maybe we should include Aliana in on this too. She might have a better idea..." Cassandra suggested.
"Actually, that's a good idea..." Nestor agreed. "You probably know this already, but the Infinity Chamber just caves in on anybody who's not part of our royal family... or about to be. That's why I use it for executions sometimes: it caves in on them, and crushes them to death. But, if Kyle enters accompanied by Aliana... then, the chamber will think they're there to get married. It doesn't matter if they don't actually get married... the chamber will just see a young unmarried couple who are attracted to one another, and it'll let them in..."
Cassandra shook her head. "Thats not what I meant...I meant she might have an idea where to move him."
"Okay... let's go and ask her, then
."
Five minutes later, Nestor and Cassandra were outside Aliana's room - where they explained the situation to her.
"How about our private beach?" she suggested. "There's a little cave there that can only be accessed if you go underwater... it's not massive, only about the size of a small bedroom, but there's just about enough room for him, his bed, and his writing desk in there."
“That could work. Certainly less creepy then some of Nestor’s. We can do that.” Cassandra said.
Aliana snorted, and immediately became curious. "And what was Dad suggesting? Turn him into a girl, so that they could never find him? Which I guess would work, but it wouldn't be much better than what they were doing to him back at Lennart Castle anyway
. Or did he want me to hide him in my wardrobe or something
???"
“Not quite. He wanted to put him in the lower reaches of the castle which would of been pretty much a prison. Or the Infinity Chamber.” Cassandra said shaking her head. “I suggested a room in the royal chambers or one of the towers.”
