Alright, everyone is welcome to participate in this RPG. I shall roleplay the Borg. Anyone else participating is a member of the USS Voyager.
Let's begin!
A vessel has been detected. Unimatrix 825, Grid 05, activate.
Vessel identified. USS Voyager. Intreprid-class starship. 745 life forms.
"We are the Borg. You will be assimilated. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistence is futile."
OOC: Before I sign up for this, what are the limits on what characters we can play?
As in, does it have to be an established
Star Trek character who served on the Voyager in the official canon? Or can we invent our own character, as long as it fits in within the
Star Trek universe? Or can it be just anybody
?

OOC: Of course, you can invent your own character, as long as it fits within the Star Trek universe. 🙂
OK, sounds good
!
I'll enter as soon as I can think of a good character

"Entering is irrelevant. Thinking is irrelevant. Good character is irrelevant. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. You must comply."
Here's my attempt at a character:
Name: James Mercurion
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Physical description: Is a fairly tall young man, with short black hair and a light skin complexion. Usually wears black and red overalls.
Personality: Is light-hearted and jokey - and thus, always nice to have around in tense and distressing situations. However, he himself sometimes struggles to handle the pressure...
History: Has just been employed as a junior engineer on the USS Voyager. He had been expecting to work his way up the ranks over the years; however, the USS Voyager's latest predicament has thrust him into the limelight far sooner than he anticipated...
Anything I should change, or is he good to go?
Let's go!
We are Borg. State your designation.
James was a bit intimidated by this disembodied voice, suddenly approaching him out of nowhere.
"Ermm... I'm just a junior engineer. Perhaps you should speak to my superior?"
